Newly remodeled three bedroom, one full bath lake cottage is located on beautiful Big McKenzie Lake -16 miles north of Spooner, Wisconsin and 2 1/2 hours from the Twin Cities.
This unique Northwood's cottage sits on 3 acres of mature oak and pine woods with a walking path to the lake and dock. This cottage has comfortable amenities, including: full kitchen, wood burning fireplace, air conditioning, screened-in porch, large deck, washer and dryer, gas grill, fishing boat and motor, and satellite TV with DVD.
Take advantage of all the area has to offer: golfing, shopping, movie theater, ATV trails, hiking, biking, Namekegon River, casino and numerous restaurants.

cottage rental amenities
There are three bedrooms - each has a queen bed. The bathroom has a shower/tub. Bed and bath linens provided. The kitchen has new appliances with a coffee maker, toaster and microwave. In addition, a round oak table in the eat-in kitchen will accomodate 6 adults comfortably. The living room has a wood burning fireplace for those cool summer evenings and airconditioning when it gets hot. There is a color TV with satellite service and DVD player. A washer and dryer is provided. The deck has a chaise lounge and round dining table. A gas grill is provided for BBQ's. Also included is a fishing boat with motor.
Rental for jet ski's, canoes and pontoons is available close by.
There is no smoking allowed in the cottage and no pets are allowed.

Watching wildlife including deer, bald eagles and loon's. Fishing, swimming, water-skiing, golfing, horseback riding, tennis, biking, etc. Restaurants within walking distance or a short drive.
For the fishing enthusiasts - Big McKenzie Lake is approximately 1,185 Acres with a maximum depth of 72 feet and specializes in Walleye, Northern Pike, Large & Smallmouth Bass. Muskie, Bluegill and Crappie also caught.
vacation rental rates
June - August - $1,200 per week or $3,000 per month (Maximum of 6 occupants)
September - October - $800 per week or $200/night (minimum 2 nights)
We reserve with 50% down(check or money order) and require payment in full plus $500 damage deposit 30 days prior to arrival. The damage deposit will be returned within two weeks of your stay, provided there is no damage. Must give 30 day notice of cancellation prior to arrival date for return of initial deposit.
For June through August, a week is considered to be from Saturday to Saturday with check-in at 4 pm and check-out at 10 am, unless special arrangements are made with the owner in advance.
