Vacation Rental Description
The romance of a classic knotty pine beach cottage with views far up the Sonoma Coast. This very
warm,cozy and somewhat quirky cottage is decorated in authentic
vintage “beachy”; colorful, joyful and fun. Bask in the views of
sand, surf and Salmon Creek where it meets the sea while you sip
umbrella drinks on the back deck or watch the sun set on the ocean
from your front row seat by the (gas)fireplace. Get lost in the
tranquility of the ocean’s symphony as it crashes to shore.
You can walk to the beach from the cottage (without having to cross
the highway) for beachcombing or just sunning...about a 5 minute walk. You’ll stroll through
our tiny beach community on narrow streets filled with wonderful old
beach houses. Take a few moments as you go by Salmon Creek to feed
the geese. Or perhaps walk in the dunes with the dog running free. Slide down "moving dune" with
the kids (save a box or two to slide on.)
Our cottage has one bedroom with a Q bed and really great views of
the ocean. The second, smaller bedroom has a double size bed.
There is one bath.
The kitchen has everything necessary to create dinners of fresh
seafood you can get from local fishermen’s catch at the docks.
Or go out to eat. There are several wonderful local restaurants
nearby in Bodega Bay or up the coast in Jenner and Duncan’s Mills.
Spend the day locally in Bodega Bay whale watching at Bodega Head,
visit The Children’s Bell Tower, horseback ride on the beach, golf
at Bodega Harbour, go tidepooling. Or take a drive into the redwoods for the day
following the Russian River (only 15 minutes up the coast)towards
Armstrong Redwood State Park, Korbel Champagne tasting, shopping or
golf at Northwood’s.

Well behaved dog welcome...$50 per dog per stay (2 dog max)
Holidays require 3 might min. stay. Holidays include: New Years,
Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas
Management fee: $45.00 Lodging Tax: 9%
Deposits: $250 Security + $150 Pet Deposit (if applicable)
Cleaning Fee: $150/refundable if home left in fully clean and
undamaged condition.
Linens Fee: $65.00 (Bed & Bath) or bring your own.
