Duplex w/ 1 Bedrooms - 1 Bathrooms - Sleeps 2

Hidden Treasure Cottage is perfect for the two of you. Steal away to
this romantic hideaway across the street from Sunset Beach on
beautiful Treasure Island. Bright, cheery studio apartment features
fun colors, Mexican ceramic tile floors, new appliances, and French
doors leading to private brick patio.
Dine out or enjoy cooking in. Kitchen/dining area with stove and
refrigerator is stocked with dishes and cookware, microwave and
coffee maker. Refurbished bathroom is bright and clean
with plenty of hot water, but shower only.
This single story unit is in a residential area with a Bohemian
atmosphere. You won't be crowded out by high-rise condos, but there
is still a festive atmosphere and it's a short walk to the white,
sandy beach on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico where you can watch the
sunset as you listen to music from Caddy's, our favorite beach
bar/restaurant.
Parking is limited, so please bring only one vehicle and make sure
you park so that the guest on the other side can park next to you.
And no pets or smoking, please. Maximum Occupancy 2.
Please observe the 10 am check out time so the unit can be ready for
the next guests.
Beautiful private patio is completely fenced and has large shade
trees so you can bask in the Florida sun or escape from it at your
pleasure. Unit is small, but boasts a comfy queen bed, TV/DVD and
wireless internet access. Ceramic tile floors, AC and
ceiling fan keep you cool.
This fun neighborhood offers many conveniences. The 7-eleven is only
steps away for your morning coffee, but you can't see the lights or
signage from your cottage. Once you've picked up your coffee and
donut, continue across the street to easy beach access with gazebo,
benches and outside shower. The beach here is serene and
uncrowded. For more action, turn left and head down the beach where
more parking and plenty of food and fun cause the beach to be crowded
and active. Past the beach bars, you can walk on down to the inlet
and watch the dolphins in the pass. There's something for everyone
on this little stretch of beach. And though restaurants and bars are
close enough to walk to they are not so close they disturb your quiet.
A short walk to the beach (200 steps) takes you to white sand and gulf waters
where you can enjoy shelling, swimming, sunbathing, beach volleyball
or listening to the music. Jet skis, fishing, boating, dinner
cruises and nature tours are also available locally. Sunsets are a
big deal here and everyone gathers at Caddy's to drink, dine and
mingle while they enjoy the fabulous colors and applaud another
glorious sunset. Nearly every weekend the view includes a couple
getting married on the beach just as the sun touches the water.
Locally, there are amusement centers, bowling, movies and plenty of
great places to eat and shop.
If you prefer more glamour, St. Pete-Tampa offers all the amenities
of any large metropolitan area, including world-class shopping and
dining, theatre, pro sports, dog and horse tracks and jai alai.
Busch Gardens is a great theme park and much closer than the ones in
Orlando, but if you must do Disney, it's only two hours away.
Still, one of my favorite activities is driving over one of the
bridges and watching the sunlight sparkle off the water in
Tampa Bay. And it doesn't cost a penny.
This little pink cottage really IS a Hidden Treasure:
