Come to the Island of Deer Isle Stonington and experience Maine as it should be. Stay at "Tarnavra" 
with your extended family or friends and share the costs of your vacation. This large cottage is 
spacious enough that you can all stay together but still have your share of privacy. Tarnavra sits 
on an open sunny lot although surrounded by wooded forest and Maine's wildlife you have complete 
unobstructed view of the ocean. Enjoy breathtaking views ver Jerico Bay and Swans Island from the 
large deck on the water side of the cottage. Dock and open float for use on this property so bring 
your sail boat or kayaks, or inquire about 14 foot sail boat for rent at significant discount if 
booking Tarnavra. This is a family friendly cottage with both view and access to the ocean via rocky 
coast line and beach area. Deer Isle 
Stonington is quiet and relaxing and still somewhat undiscovered and just travel less then 3 miles 
from Tarnavra, located on Indian Point Road, and there is plenty to do in the little fishing village 
of Stonington.  This cottage newly renting this year in 2008 is still available over the fourth of 
July Book It Now !! Fourth of July parade, fish fry on the village dock and fireworks in the 
evening. It is very rare that one vacations this area and does not return. If this rental looks

Come during the fourth of July for more festivities or during the boat races for more things to do 
on the Island see the Deer Isle Stonington Chamber of Commerce web site.  
Hike thru the small trail thru the woods to the dock and float Or Kayak to Hills Half Acre or Russ 
Island where there is a nice private beach that is open to the public Also Green Island with 
swimming quarry.

Family board games. No cable or satelite so do bring DVD's or pick some up on the way.

June & Sept 1800/week

July & August parties under 7 1900/week parties with 8-10 people 2000/week

Maine Sales tax of 7%

Cleaning Fee of $150.00 for parties of 7 or under, $200.00 for parties 0f 8-10
 

Pets with approval only and additional $40.00 per pet cleaning fee.

Security Deposit 500.00 refundable within 30 days.

Full weeks deposit to hold. One week to hold if booking two weeks
