From The moment you enter the home you’re greeted by the Texas Cowboy entry. Each of our five spacious bedrooms feature a specific historic event that shaped the history of the lone star state. Our master bedroom tells the story of Terry’s Texas Rangers. Another tells of possibly Texas’ most famous story, The Alamo. Learn about the struggle for Texas’ freedom in the Texas Independence Room. And finally, one of the most interesting stories to come out of Texas’ past, the Come and take it Cannon Room. From just relaxing by the lake, to boating to your favorite restaurant, to playing a round of golf on one of the many acclaimed courses that hug the lake’s shore, Lone Star Lake House is a getaway that you won’t soon forget. The entire north end of Lake Conroe is encompassed by Sam Houston
National Forest, affording a spectacular boating getaway as well as
hiking or wildlife viewing.
The Lone Star Hiking Trail, located in Sam Houston National Forest,
Features 127 miles of overland hiking trails.
Lake Conroe features many restaurants that you can boat to, from
McDonalds, to fine dinning and everything in between. Many of which
feature live music for your entertainment.
Live entertainment is featured aboard the Southern Empress Paddle
Wheeler dinner cruise as well.
Fishing is hot at Lake Conroe; black bass, white bass, catfish,
crappie & striper.
Walden on Lake Conroe consistently ranks in the top 10 golf courses
across Texas. The 11th hole, a double dogleg par 5 measuring 589
yards, was selected as one of the top 500 holes in the world by Golf
Magazine in 2000. Reciprocal from golf professional to golf
professional, Monday through Thursday. Although Walden is a private
course there are more than a dozen pubic golf courses to choose from
in the immediate area.
The activities in this area are too numerous to list here. Many
activities can be accessed via boat from the house.

Shorter stays may be possible, depending on availability with a 3 night minimum. For holidays we have a 4 night minimum.
Rates start at $330.00 per night for up to 6 guests. $20 per night per guest for guests 7 through 12.
No Pets. No Smoking.
$700 refundable security deposit required.
