Mooresville is like a resort town, so during the summer almost everything here is casual.  The Estate at Lake Norman is a vacation destination on its own.  With over an acre, it offers a great place to bring the entire family for a relaxing fun filled vacation.  The home has all of the amenities of an estate, offering luxurious accommodations at an affordable price.  Of particular note is the gameroom on the lower level with foosball, pool table, air hockey, and darts.  Once they find the gameroom, you will not see the kids again for a while!  Also plan to enjoy at least one meal on the dock, which has a covered eating space with chairs.  The view is amazing.  You can sunbathe or fish from the dock, so bring those rods and reels.  Relaxing in the lake on a float is also a little bit of heaven!   For children of all ages, one of the most popular attractions in Mooresville is the drive through zoo.  It's called the Lazy 5 Ranch and is on Highway 150.  They have animals of all sizes and types and you can feed them from your car.  For race fans, the first place to stop would be the Race Museum in Mooresville.  They can give you guidance on anything else you would want to do that pertains to racing.  Many of the drivers live in Mooresville.  Some of the best attractions are Michael Waltrip's Race World at Exit 28 and the new Nascar Hall of Fame in Charlotte.  Race Shop Tours also offers guided tours of all of the race shops.   Within a few miles there are several great vineyards, all of which would be located north on I-77.  Most offer tasting and the opportunity to purchase their wines.  The piedmont of North Carolina is well known for its excellent wines.    For shopping, Northlake Mall at Exit 18 has about everything you would want, and for a great outlet mall try Concord Mills in Concord.    Local shopping is available at the intersection of Highway 150 and Interstate 77, where there is a Walmart and other assorted stores.  Just down the road from that on Highway 150 are two shopping centers with Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, etc.    For boating or any other information on events, the web offers many options for searches.    There is a fire pit so a great activity for kids at the house is somores over the fire by the lake.  Bring your camera, because some of the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen will be visible from the deck.   

Rental rates are $6500 per week for any available summer week. Security deposit is 50% of rental rate.
