Point House in Sheldrake in Cayuga Lake

Our Point House is a newly-remodeled three bedroom, two bath year round home, accommodating up to six people on one level. Within 50 feet of public access to the Cayuga Lakefront, it boasts a wonderful lakeview.

Decorated in a nautical theme, our guests can make themselves right at home in the comfortable, bright and airy rooms. Multiple lakefront windows and large screened porch extend the vacation experience as you sit in comfort and take in all of the lake views.

The PointHouse is within a five minute walk to the Sheldrake Point
Vineyards & Cafe. Located in the heart of the Cayuga and Seneca Wine Trails, and the Ithaca Art Trail, it is a short drive to Taughannock Falls State Park, Watkins Glen International Speedway, Hanger Theatre, Ithaca's Children Garden, Mackenzie-Childs Pottery, Corning Museum of Glass, Ithaca Commons, Waterloo Premium Outlet, Pyramid Mall of Ithaca, multiple antique shops, and over 40 wineries along the way. Ithaca College, Cornell University and the New York Chiropratic College are a short 20 minute drive.

There is a nice beach for swimming.

You can easily launch your small watercraft at the public access, just 50 feet away--great for fishermen!

Our weekly rate June through August is $1200 per week. A $600 deposit at the time of reservation is required, the balance of $600 plus a $250 refundable security deposit is due 30 days prior to arrival.

Daily rates during non-peak season are $200 per night with a two-night minimum.

Special rates are available for Ithaca College and Cornell graduation weeks!
