The Sand Castle has 8 bedroom areas, (9 if you count the futon in game area), 4 1/2 baths, 2 kitchen areas (first and second floor), 2 living areas, den, oceanview balcony and oceanview terrace. Sleeping up to 21 in 6 conventional bedrooms, studio and den bedroom areas (sofa beds/privacy doors), double futon, sleeper sofa and oversized single sofa.

The Sand Castle also has the best beach access in St. Augustine Beach.  St. Augustine is very wide with beautiful, wide drifts white sand.  Because St. Augustine Beach is so wide, the town built a handful of boardwalks that extend out over the softest sand to make it easier to reach the ocean.  The Sand Castle has dual beach access from both the front and back sides of the house.  You can either walk across the sand from one side of the house or use the boardwalk to get to the water from the other side, givng The Sand Castle the absolute best ocean access.

Surfboard, kayak and bicycle rental 25 steps away! There are numerous
restaurants within walking distance including an outdoor one with pool for
use by their customers. Have a drink and watch the kids swim! Only blocks from
the pier, volleyball and tennis courts and 10 minutes from the Historic District.

First Floor:  The unique design of the Sand Castle offers a ground floor with no steps/stairs which consists of a studio, oversized king bedroom, bathroom and garage/game area.  This part of the house has its own entrance and can be closed/opened into rest of house (perfect for elderly or mult-families).  The studio is equipped with small dining/kitchen area (stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker), a sleeper sofa, TV and DVD player.  Designed with a privacy door, the studio can be used as a sitting room or separate bedroom.  The oversized king bedroom also has a large sofa suitable for sleeping.  There is a full bathroom (shower/no tub),  Access to the bathroom is via the king bedroom or garage/game area.

The garage/game area is carpeted, heated and air conditioned.  It has a game table, TV and double bed futon with superior mattress.  A privacy screen if provided for those guests who wish to sleep there.  The second floor and remaining living area can be accessed via the garage/game area.  The second floor can also be accessed from outside via a private entrance.

Second Floor: The second floor living area is comprised of an open plan living/dining/kitchen area.  The fully equipped kitchen includes microwave, stove, blender, refrigerator, coffeemaker, etc.  The dining table has additional leaves and seating if needed. There is a half bath located off the living area as well as a washer and a dryer.  The living room includes a TV, DVD player and L-shaped sofa with sleeper.  Through an adjoining door is the den bedroom (with sleeper sofa), TV and DVD player. Designed with a privacy door, den can be used as a sitting room or another bedroom.  A full bath with shower/tub adjoins the den.  The king bedroom is accessed via the den and includes king bed, TV and ocean view.   The oceanview balcony is also accessed from the den.

Third Floor:  The third floor has 4 bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens and twin room with 2 singles), 2 baths and an oceanview deck.

Parking/Other Amenities: Parking available for up to 7 vehicles.  We provide all linen including beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and chiildren's beach toys.

There is also an outdoor shower and barbeque grill (charcoal) for the use of our guests.

10 minutes to the Historic District, 15 minutes to Marieneland, 30 minutes to World Golf Village, 45 minutes to Daytona and just 90 minutes to Disneyworld!
