Summer by the beach in Coronado

Comfortable family house a block and a half from the beach and
walking distance to restaurants and shops. The address is 1021 Encino
Row, Coronado 92118.
A covered, wrap-around deck, serves as the family
gathering place - bar, lounge area with TV, and BBQ.
The master bedroom and large bath are upstairs, King bed + space
that can sleep 2 young children on roll-aways.
The downstairs "bedroom" is a room with Queen sofa bed that can be fitted for your stay with a regular Queen mattress. This room has a bathroom with
walk in shower.
The 3rd bedroom area is in a separate "granny flat" with it's own
bathroom. It has a large screen TV, twin beds, and two chairs that
convert to beds for small children.
The house has hardwood floors, slipcovered furniture, ceiling fans,
lots of windows and french doors that can be left open at all times.

Included in the rental is the use of the office: computer, fax,
scanner, printer, high speed internet & wireless access, phone
(unlimited local and nationwide service); 5 TVs(cable), DVD player,
washer/dryer, small but fully equipped kitchen(coffee maker,
blender, toaster, microwave, gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator
with ice maker,etc.), off street parking, AC in master bedroom and
granny flat, outdoor heaters, all linens, dishes, flatware. Final
cleaning is included and arrangements can be made for additional days.

Coronado and San Diego have so much to offer in the way of outdoor
activities, I don't know where to begin! We're steps from beautiful
Coronado Beach for swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, sun bathing,
running or walking the shoreline. We are also close to dog beach for
the canine family members, and a local surfing school offers lessons
for people and dogs. During the summer months we have Sunday
night "Concerts in the Park" here on the island. July Forth is huge,
with a parade, Navy demonstrations, and fireworks. Of course
there are fireworks somewhere on the bay every night during summer.
The bay that separates San Diego and Coronado(10 min. by bridge,
ferry or water taxi) has many options: fishing, boating, jet skiing,
all equipment can be rented locally. It's a wonderful place to bike,
with flat paths running along the water for miles(can also be used
to roller blade). We have many tennis courts and a beautiful golf
course that runs along the bay.
Skateboarding is a major form of transportation for the kids along
with bikes.
Nearby: Sea World, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Lego
Land, fishing boats, whale watching boats, harbor cruises, tours of
sailing ships and Navy ships (including aircraft carriers when in
port). Out-door musical theatre for the family in Balboa Park,Del
Mar race track in July and August, and Disneyland is only a couple
of hours by car or train.
Right over the bridge is The Gaslamp area of San Diego, where
there are dozens of restaurants, clubs, music venues, theatres,
shopping, etc., and fabulous Petco Park home of the San Diego
Padres.
