Vacation Rental Description

Whether you need to escape the heat, cold or just the hectic pace of 
everyday life, unwind in this authentic Log Home nestled in the Blue 
Ridge Mountains. Located just five minutes to the quaint historic 
railroad town of Saluda, NC, this lovely upscale log home is on 3.5 
quiet, wooded acres with hardly a home in sight. It is on paved roads
and driveway in the community of Winfield Cove. Only 13 minutes to 
Hendersonville, 30 minutes to Greenville/Spartanburg, and 40 minutes 
to Asheville. 

Enjoy the spectacular Long Range Views, as pictured below, right from
the front porch! Watch the sunrise light up morning mist in the 
valley below! Each season has its special beauty: fresh mountain-air
breezes make Summer a delight, Autumn's flaming colors take your 
breath away, Winter is cozy as a dusting of snow blankets the 
ridges and Spring flowers rejuvenate the soul!
  
Gorgeous Pearson’s Falls is a short scenic drive from 
town. Dupont State Forest is a must for waterfall lovers! Stroll down
the tree-lined streets of Saluda to enjoy the many restored 
Victorian Homes. Travel back in time as you discover the charm of 
historic Main Street. There, you can order an old fashioned malt at 
Ward’s Grill and feast at one of the fabulous restaurants- we love 
The Purple Onion for the variety of live music and outstanding menu,
and also The Saluda Grade Café. 

When your sight-seeing has tired you, relax in a rocking chair with a 
cool drink on the spacious, covered front porch. Or curl up with a 
good book on the leather sofa in front of the gas-log fireplace. 
The master suite, with sitting area, master bath and walk-in closet, 
is in the huge loft overlooking the living room. Two additional bedrooms 
are down on the main level. All are tastefully decorated with new furniture 
and bedding. 

For relaxation and tranquility, that is still right around the corner from all 
the conveniences of town, come home to our Peaceful Easy Feeling log cabin!

Master suite with Queen Bed, 2nd bedroom with Queen Bed and 3rd 
bedroom with Two Twin Beds. Queen size air mattress is available.

Vaulted tongue-in-grove ceilings and an open floor plan, accented by 
a huge rock fireplace and fresh interior design, make this mountain 
home an awesome getaway.

Huge porch with GORGEOUS long-range Mountain Views, teak furniture,
rockers & gas grill. Gas-log fireplace, High-Speed Wireless Internet
(WI-FI), TV in two rooms, satellite TV, DVD player. Fully equipped kitchen- 
microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, utensils, dishes and pans, coffee maker,
coffee grinder, toaster, mixer. Two bedrooms with views, linens provided, 
ceiling fans, Central Air-conditioning, washer, dryer, iron, NO SMOKING, NO PETS

Vacation Rental Rates

OFF-PEAK: Nov 1-Mar 31; $700/week; $340/weekend (2 nights) 
$150/night mid-week (2 night minimum stay)

PEAK: Apr 1-Oct 31; $900/week; $400/weekend (2 nights) $170/night 
mid-week (2 night minimum stay)

$70  cleaning fee per stay

$200 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT required at reservation. Cancellations fully 
refundable with 30 days notice. 50% of total rent plus deposit is 
due upon booking.

Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Last minute reservations 
must pay in full upon booking. 

Holidays: APR 20-24; MAY 24-27; JUL 1-7; AUG-29-SEPT. 2; NOV 21-25; DEC 21-JAN 6
$1100/week or $225/night (4 night minimum stay)
