Prepare to be astounded as the Bluenose sails by the front door! From
this incredible and unique vantage point you’ll face both the McNab’s
Island lighthouse and Halifax’s gem in the city, Point Pleasant Park.
Located on a quiet road 10 minutes to downtown Halifax in beautiful
Ferguson’s Cove, this three bedroom house has all you could ask for
and more.
It is peaceful and private with all modern conveniences and has the
most breathtaking views. Enjoy the walking trails at nearby York
Redoubt, a Parks Canada National Historic site, or sit back and watch
the cruise ships enter the harbour from either the first or second
floor balconies.
This house has been newly renovated and is gorgeous! It is in a very
unique and private setting, on a bus route, minutes from a National
Park and close to all amenities. The home is tastefully furnished and
equipped with TV, stereo, DVD player, washer and dryer, BBQ, a fully
equipped kitchen, extra linens and towels, books, magazines, movies
and just about anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
We can easily accommodate six or eight people with three queen sized
beds and a pull out sofa bed in the den. It is ideal for large or
extended families, for three or four couples, visiting academics,
corporate travelers, conference attendees or those working in Halifax
on a short-term basis. The two-story, three-bedroom, 1½ bath, smoke-
free house is bight and sunny, has spectacular views from the living
room, dining room and all three bedrooms. The bedrooms all are
equipped with bedside tables, lamps, chests of drawers, closets,
bookshelves and books. The back of the house faces a private semi-
wooded garden.
Enjoy the beauty of historic Halifax’s harbour, the second deepest
natural harbour in the world. All of the harbour traffic sails right
by your front window. You will marvel at the Bluenose or the huge
container ships, enjoy the lights on the cruise ships as they head
out to sea at dusk, cheer the sailboats in a weekend regatta, or
dream of incredible fortunes as you count the luxury yachts heading
in to port.
