Welcome to the Northwoods Chateau. Surrounded by pine trees and with 
awe-inspiring views of the mountains, Northwoods Chateau will 
captivate guests looking for serenity and luxury. It is located in the 
Sierras near the north shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe at Tahoe Donner, 
Truckee. 
 
This three bedroom, two and a half bath mountain home offers a place 
to enjoy the mountains, the breathtaking lake, or just to relax and be 
away from it all. It is brand new, modern, luxurious, with a modern 
clean gas stove that can warm the room in minutes with a flick of a 
switch. 
 
The Chateau, completed in 2005, boasts wonderful panoramic mountain 
views and a convenient floor plan. Two bedrooms and a bath are located 
on the lower lever. In the upper level, the master bedroom enjoys a 
private bath and a private deck facing the back yard. 
 
The great room is open to the kitchen and dining room which expands 
the sense of space and makes for easy, relaxed entertaining. The tall 
windows and the twenty foot vaulted pine ceilings enhance the 
spacious, airy feeling. 
 
The Master bedroom and the second bedroom has one queen-size bed. The 
third bedroom comes complete with a pair bunk beds, and there are two 
extra twin air beds as well so it sleeps 8-10 people comfortably. It 
is fully equipped and furnsihed, and has wireless DSL line, two TVs, 
surround sound and a very convenient two-car garage.  
 
Guests of the Chateau enjoy access to Tahoe Donner's members-only 
amenities. You will have access to two "transferable" Tahoe Donner 
guest cards and can gain access to the private amenities which include 
state of the art fitness facility, downhill/cross-country skiing, 
Trout Creek Recreation Center, sauna and steam rooms, three hot tubs, 
year round heated swimming pool, Alder Creek Campgrounds, Day Camps, 
Equestrian Center, Golf Course, Driving Range, Tennis Center, and the 
Beach Club Marina--a great place to spend your summer days. You can 
learn to windsurf, sail, and enjoy Donner Lake on a private beach. Up 
to four guests may gain access on a single transferable card. 
 
Truckee was recently named the sixth top ski town by Skiing Magazine. 
That means in addition to the skiing at Tahoe Donner, skiers and 
snowboarders can choose from several world-class ski areas. At this 
cabin, you are in proximity to everything--Squaw Valley 15 miles - Hwy 
89 South; Northstar-at-Tahoe 14 miles - Hwy 267 South; Alpine Meadows 
17 miles - Hwy 89 South; Sugarbowl 16 miles - I-80 West; Boreal 12 
miles - I-80 West; Donner Ski Ranch 13 miles - I-80 West.
