Paddler's Lane is a warm inviting home on the banks of the "Wild and
Scenic" Youghiogheny River. The house is outfitted and priced to give
you exceptional accommodations at reasonable prices.
We are on the Youghiogheny river; known for it's beauty, fun family
floats, and in other sections for it's whitewater rafting. In
addition Paddler's lane is beside Ohiopyle State Park, 7.5 miles from
Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. We are also on
the 394 mile Great Allegheny Passage bicycle trail, nestled between 4
ski resorts (Seven Springs, Hidden valley, Wisp, Laurel Ridge) and
surrounded by 180 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. In
short, we are situated in the middle of the beautiful Laurel
Highlands. Come stay with us!

We arrived Thanksgiving day and even though the owners were away on their own break, they made everything easy and cosy as possible. The cottage is wonderful, we felt hidden away and yet the town was just down the road if we needed anything. The owners provided terrific literature and were easily accessible by cell phone for restaurant recommendations and hiking suggestions! Everything was clean, lots of wood stacked for our fires, and although I wasn't the least bit willing to cook, the kitchen had plenty of amenities. Close to Falling Water, Nemacolin, and if I could have gotten my husband to get off his butt, lots of hiking!! I absolutely would recommend this place to anyone and even the train running right next door didn't seem at all distracting, and I am a person who HATES noise.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
