kitchen and large family room with a fireplace. This wonderful, old 
home will take you back to a "by-gone" era so expect to relax and 
enjoy an old fashioned way of life. You may never want to return to 
the 21st century again.

water!

Activities and Attractions

For those of you who don't want to go back in time, the town of 
Castine has enough going on to keep you busy from sunup to sundown.  
Biking,Golfing, boating, tennis, swimming, sunbathing, walking 
eating, dancing and kayaking are among the multitude of things to do 
in town. The house is a nice "home base" for those of you who like 
to take day trips too. Enjoy Bar Harbor with all its excitement, 
picturesque Blue Hill or Stonington with it's working water front. 
All within an hours drive from the house.

Castine has an exciting night life too! we have several excellent 
restaurants to choose from as well as the very interesting Stella's 
Jazz Nocturnal Pub where you can listen to great music and enjoy 
food with a New Orleans flare. And, if you prefer to live "life on 
the edge" try The Reef.....the coolest bar in town.

For the rest of us.....enjoy the Wilson Museum, 1 of 2 libraries or 
lectures sponsored by the CaStine Historical Society.  You'll never 
want to leave.
