vacation rental description
The air conditioned second floor apartment has a comfortable living
room with basic cable TV. Sliding glass doors take you out to the
glorious balcony with table and chairs for dining or just looking out
at the lake. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub; the 3 bedrooms include
the master with a queen size bed and sliding doors to the balcony, one bedroom has a firm double bed, while the third bedroom has twin beds (apartment sleeps 6 max.)
No one lives on the first floor. A gas grill is available for outdoor
cooking.
A crib can be provided for an extra $10.
Maid service is not provided. *
Renters must provide their own linens and towels , paper products,garbage bags, soaps, shampoo, condiments,etc.
The quarters must be left as clean as when you arrived.
*An end of visit cleaning service may be arranged for an extra $150. This must be requested in advance.
Check in time is 3PM and check out is 11AM.

in the cool lakeshore breezes. The furnished rooms include a fully
equipped kitchen and dining area where meals can be enjoyed and you
can play games or put jigsaw puzzels together. The expansive lawn
and playset provide plenty of room for outdoor adventures.
PLAN YOUR OWN RETREAT! This is an excellent place to bring your favorite people together for an artists' "En plein air" adventure, writing workshop, environmental studies. quilting or sewing fun. Spend a week or weekend off season and get special rates. Call for specific arrangements.
activities and attractions in Cayuga Lake Finger Lakes
The dock and deck by the lake allow for swimming, boating, picnicing,
bonfires, and simple relaxation. A 2 seater boat called a kanuk is available for local paddling.
Located on the west side of Cayuga lake, the sand and rocky shore lure the great blue heron to their rookery, ducks and geese also call it home. Eagles have also been seen in the spring.
Bird watchers will enjoy the mile hike around the property to see more than 20 different birds.
Montezuma Nature Preserve is only 10 miles away.
Adventure bicycling in the Finger Lakes provides views (Cayuga Scenic
by-way), flat paths and hills to test your endurance.
Botanical Hill, once a vineyard, now claims the proximity to numerous
wineries on the Cayuga and Seneca Wine Trails. (read on)
Only 30 miles north of Ithaca, 20 miles to Geneva, 60 miles to
Syracuse or Rochester, puts several colleges and universities within easy visiting distance.
Numerous parks with waterfalls and hikiing trails are easily
accessible.
Many museums are within a short drive, including Seneca Falls Historical Society House, Seneca Museum of the Waterways and Industry, the Seneca County Arts Council, the National Women's Hall of Fame, and the National Park
commemorating the Women's Rights movement.

During June, July and August I rent from Sunday to Sunday. You must
pay for a full week
A 50% deposit is required in advance. Deposit will not be returned in
case of cancellation unless the premises can be re-rented for that time. Full payment in cash or certified check is required upon arrival. The deposit will be held until premises are vacated and will be returned if no damage is assessed.
Renter must sign a lease at time of reservation and deposit.
