Beautiful lake front family summer “camp” located on Great Pond in
the Belgrade Lakes region about 3.5 hours from Boston and 20 miles
northwest of Augusta, Maine. This secluded camp consists of three
buildings that can accommodate up to 14 people and has been in our
family for 5 generations. All three buildings are on 800 feet of
secluded shore front, are within 25 feet of the lake and have
spectacular lake views and eastern exposures.
Main Camp includes a large (40 X 40) open living room/dining area, a
kitchen/eating area (20 X 20), a 1/2 bath, a 40 foot front porch
with adirondack and rocking chairs and a screened in side porch.
There is also a small deck area off the kitchen. The large living
room has a wood stove with various sitting areas for reading, card
games, etc. The living room also has a queen sized sofa bed that
can sleep two. The dining area has an antique circular dining table
that can seat 12 people. There is an additional table that can
accommodate 6-8 people that can be set up on the front porch or in
the screened in side porch. The screened in side porch has wicker
furniture, a toy box and is a great play area for smaller children.
Guest Camp includes two bedrooms and two full baths. One bedroom has
a queen size bed and the second has three twins beds and a crib.
This building is located about 15 feet from Main Camp.
The Boathouse sits on the water and the upstairs includes three
bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed, the
second bedroom has a full-sized bed and the third has two twin beds.
The upstairs can be accessed from exterior stairs on either side of
the building. Access to the dock and shallow swimming area is
through the downstairs of the boathouse. This building is about 75
feet from Main Camp. The dock area and the deck on the back porch
of the Main Camp are both ideal for sunbathing.
