Vacation Rental Description

Olympic Ridge House is a sunny 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 3,000 square foot  
private home on the Olympic Peninsula. Located atop a hill, it  
offers stunning mountain and water views from every room. Use it as your 
base for exploring the area, or simply relax on the wrap-around deck and enjoy the 
panoramic view.  
 
The house is comfortably furnished with antiques, and is ideal for a family vacation or a romantic  
getaway for two. The layout is perfect: the adults can relax on the main floor, while the kids can  
watch TV and hang out in the downstairs family room.   
 
No time to cook? We can have dinner waiting for you upon arrival, or during your stay. Special  
occasion cakes are also available through our personal chef. If you like to cook, the large kitchen  
is fully equipped, has all major appliances, and two stoves. The dining room table seats 8 easily. 
 
The upstairs dining/living room has a vaulted ceiling, a wood-burning fireplace, and windows on all 3 
sides. A door opens onto the new wrap-around deck, making outdoor dining a breeze. 
 
The master bedroom suite features a 4 poster, queen-size bed and attached master bath with jacuzzi  
tub, double vanity, and walk-in shower. The bedroom opens onto the deck. The second upstairs bedroom  
has 2 twin beds, plus a day bed, perfect for the kids. The downstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed,  
with a full bathroom across the hall. 
 
The 2 acre grounds include a vegetable garden, flower gardens, a small pond with gold fish, and a  
large play structure for the kids. 
 
Please note that this is a non-smoking house, and we are not able to accept pets. Small children are  
welcome.

The only thing missing is a telephone, so bring your cell phone. 
 
The private Beach Club in Port Ludlow is available at no additional  
charge to our guests. Its facilities include a year-round indoor  
pool, hot tub/jacuzzi, locker rooms with saunas and on-site fitness  
center. There is also an outdoor pool open summer and early fall.

Activities and Attractions

This home is ideally situated for day trips in every direction, as it  
is just minutes from Highway 104 and the Hood Canal Bridge. 
 
Head north to Port Townsend where you can explore historic Fort  
Worden and buy fresh seafood. If the Olympic National Park beckons,  
you are an hour from Port Angeles, the gateway to Hurricane Ridge.  
 
Head south, over the Hood Canal Bridge, and you can shop and explore  
the waterfront at Poulsbo, tour the Navy ships at Bremerton, or visit 
the Undersea Naval Museum in Keyport. All less than 45 minutes away.  
 
Head to Seattle for the day--it's only an hour and half drive/ferry  
boat ride away. The Bainbridge Island ferry takes you right to  
downtown Seattle. 
 
If you want to stay closer to home, you are just 15 minutes from the  
Port Ludlow Resort. There you will find kayaking, boating, golf  
courses, hiking trails and restaurants.  
 
Or, don't drive anywhere: just step outside the front door and take a  
stroll down the private road and enjoy the peace and quiet of the  
country.

Vacation Rental Rates

Summer 2008 (May 1 through Oct. 31): 1 week minimum preferred; fewer days OK if available. 
$250 per night for up to 4 people; add $20 per night per additional  
person. Maximum of 8. Washington State tax of 10.4% not included.  
 
Winter 2007/08 (Nov. 1 through April 30): 3 night minimum stay. 
$200 per night for up to 4 people; add $20 per night per additional  
person. Maximum of 8. Washington State tax of 10.4% not included.  
 
Holidays: Summer rates apply and 3 night minimum stay required. 
 
Reservations guaranteed upon receipt of $400 security deposit ($150  
cleaning fee and $250 refundable damage deposit) and 50% of rental  
fee. 
 
Rental fee balance due 60 days prior to arrival. Reservations  
are 100% refundable with 60 days notice, less $50 cancellation fee.
