We are located one and a half blocks off Main Street, and one lot before the river.
Beautifully decorated home with Victorian/European architectural details. Large common
area includes elegant but homey living and dining room. Eclectic mix of antiques and
some more contemporary yet classic furnishings. Fireplace. Large covered porch and
deck. Gorgeous gardens with an English feel. Two friendly resident cats; not permitted in
guest rooms.
Vacation Rental Amenities
WI-FI, generous breakfast made to your personal taste by experienced caterer. Excellent,
new mattresses in all rooms. Breathtaking mountain views from every room. The
luxurious Kensington has king bed, fireplace, love seat. Large ensuite bath. Devonshire
(queen bed) and Cotswold (antique full bed) share a nice bathroom. Snacks. Property is
excellent for such special events as weddings, family reunions, small corporate events.
Innkeeper is caterer of 30 years experience and is happy to help coordinate all activities.
Activities and Attractions
Located in a box canyon ringed with 12-13,000 foot high mountains, Ouray is an outdoor
paradise with unforgettable scenary. Jeeping and hiking in summer; skiing and
snowshoeing nearby in winter. Ouray Ice Park in winter with guiding available. Natural hot
springs pool a few blocks away open all year. Charming downtown with unique shops and
many galleries. Excellent restaurants. Ridgway State Park with boating opportunities 30
minutes away.
Vacation Rental Rates
Summer: Cotswold Room, $90 per night, Devonshire Room, $110 per night, Kensington
Room $175 per night. Winter: Cotswold $75, Devonshire $95; Kensington $160,
excepting holiday weekends.
