Vacation Rental Description

This guest house is located on a Lake Norman cove fed by Beaverdam 
Creek.  The water is deep and inviting.  It is a fantastic getaway 
for a couple, young family, fishermen or fisherwomen.  This upstairs 
suite has a queen size bed in the bedroom and the couches or air 
mattresses will accommodate extra people.  The living-dining area is 
homey and the kitchen is fully equiped with all amenities.  In 
addition to the porch at the guest house, our visitors also have the 
use of the porch and kitchen in front of the walkout basement of the 
main house. A new gas grill, patio table and chairs, and swing are 
available to our guests.  

The fishing and boating enthusiasts will be delighted with the use 
of the boat ramp and slip that come free with the guest house 
rental.  Guests can rent a boat from local businesses or 
bring their own, insured boat and jetskis and avail themselves of 
the free boat slip.  Swimming and fishing are enjoyed by many, and 
the lake is perfect for these activities.  An added extra is the 
free use of our paddle boat and new Walker Bay rowboat for those 
wanting a leisurely exploration of the cove.

Last minute SPECIAL!!!!  If you call to reserve on Thursday and the 
weekend or Saturday to Saturday week are not already reserved, you'll 
recieve a DISCOUNTED rate!

Inquire about discounts for teachers, church employees, senior 
citizens (62 and over), Woodstock School alumni, Pfeiffer University 
alumni, active military, and veterans.  Our guests who return for 
another visit are also eligible for a discount.

Winter rates for multiple weeks or by the month.  Call for details.

Rates: 

In Season (May 16- Sept. 15) - $650 @ week, $125 a weekday (minimum of 2 during weeks that have 
weekends reserved), $350 @ weekend for either Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday nights)

Off Season (Sept. 15 - May 18) - $450 a week, $90 a weekday (minimum of 2), $250 @ weekend.  Call 
for winter 
specials.

$75 fee per pet for preapproved pets.  No large dogs or 
untrained dogs and cats.

$50 housekeeping and supplies for one or more weeks.  

$175 security deposit fully refundable after visit.

Our weekly rates are from Saturday to Saturday.

50% of total rental charge needed as deposit to hold 
dates.  Your deposit confirms your reservation. Deposits are 
refunded if cancellaton occurs 30 or more days before reserved 
dates.  Non refundable when cancellation occurs under 30 days before 
reservation time. 

We accept personal checks for deposit and payments 14 days prior to 
arrival.  Balances made by check must be received 10 business days 
before your arrival.  Balances paid less than 
10 business days before arrival must be a certified check, money 
order, or cash.
