Vacation Rental Description
The "Lodge" as we call it, is located at Lake Tahoe's South Shore, six
miles from the Stateline casinos. This private home is a bit of "Old
Tahoe" built in the 1950's of knotty pine and granite. The fireplace,
in the warm, comfortable living room, is eight feet wide and reminds
one of the hunting lodges of yesteryear. There are three bedrooms and
two baths in the main house, and in the garden there are two darling
cottages with baths and kitchens. With the sofabed there is sleeping
space for 12.
The Part of the "Lodge" most enjoyed by our guests is the magnificent
180 degree views form the 40 feet windows in the great room. Nothing
but blue water, super sunsets and an exceptional panorama of the crest
of the mighty Sierra Nevada.
Enjoy the cascade of decks and the stairway, down past the hot tub and
garden to the lakeside patio.
The Lodge at Cave Rock is truely splendid and will make any vacation
memorable.
