Vacation Rental Description

The Park View House, 121 W. Main Street, overlooks Zorn Park with the 
public beach and offers views of the historical Holy Childhood Church. 
It is next door to fine shopping and around the corner from the New 
York and Pier restaurants.  After dining stroll down the pier to get a 
closer look at the boats docked and anchored in the harbor.  

Harbor Springs was named among the 15 best places to live in 1972.  
Walking through town you will enjoy the well-preserved Victorian 
homes, boutiques and galleries.  Drive the nationally reknowned scenic 
drive to Cross Village and enjoy the Tunnel of Trees with its views of 
Lake Michigan.  It is a fifteen minute drive to Petoskey, ten minutes 
to Boyne Highlands for skiing and golf.  

Each unit of The Park View House is approximately 1200sq.ft.  Each 
unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.  Each bedroom and bathroom 
suite is separated by the living area offering alot of privacy for the 
occupants. Although the address is Main Street the  house actually 
faces the park because each unit has three sliding door walls facing 
the park with views of the church and bay. 

The Downstairs has a brass Queen bedroom with wicker.  On the other 
side of the living area is another bath and bedroom with two twins.
There is also a queen  sleep sofa in the living room. Laundry room is 
off of the kitchen.  There is a beautiful large deck equipped with a 
grill so that you can enjoy the views of the church, park and bay as 
you prepare dinner. Two sets of patio tables and chairs are there for 
your comfort and pleasure. This unit accommodates six persons.

The Upstairs has a King bedroom with a bath and a built-in Captain's 
bed on the other side of the living area which is a double. It also 
has a loft with two twins.  The washer and dryer are located in the 
kitchen. There is one larger balcony and two small balconies off each 
sliding door wall from which to enjoy the views.  A grill and patio 
table are located on the larger balcony. This unit accommodates six 
persons.

Off street parking is available in back of the house.  The entrance to 
the Upstairs is on Main Street.  The Downstairs entrance is located in 
the back.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Both units have full kitchen, telephones, VCR, cable, washer/dryer,
linens, microwave, iron & ironing board, grill, and off street 
parking.  However, the best amenities are the location and the views.

Activities and Attractions

You can enjoy the beach, swimming, sailing, tennis, shopping, dining, 
ice cream, biking, parks, etc. without ever getting into your car.  
However, golf, fishing, boating, skiing, horseback riding, sightseeing 
are all less than an hour drive.  Petoskey is a 15 minuute drive; 
Charlevoix is 30 to 40 minutes away; Mackinac City is 30 minutes.
The area offers much to explore whether on foot, or two or four 
wheels. 

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates vary according to the seasons and lengths of the rentals. The 
units are available for seasonal, monthly, weekly, and weekend 
rentals. Since the house is a duplex the upstairs and the downstairs 
rent separately.  The whole house can be rented as well. 


The following rates are for each unit:

Summer Season: (Friday preceeding Memorial Day to Sunday following 
Labor Day) $1400/week/unit; the weeks of July 4th and Regotta week: $1500/week/unit;

Christmas/New Years Holiday & National Holidays: $225/night


Off Season:  $900/week/unit; $350/weekend/unit additional nights $125 if includes a 
weekend;

Long Term Rentals can be accommodated
