Vacation in the Mountains of Durango in Durango

The historic Village of Rockwood, 17 miles north of Durango was and
still is an on/off stop for the Durango Narrow Gauge Train. We are
adjacent to the new Glacier Club at Tamarron Resort. Rockwood is
situated in the mountains half way between the town of Durango and
Durango Mountain Resort.
This is the home we plan to retire to in a few years and since we
love it, we know you will enjoy it too!

Our home is beautifully and comfortably furnished for your whole
family. Full Kitchen with Refrigerator, Microwave, Dishwasher, gas
cook top, wall-oven, wine fridge,& all cooking utensils.The large
master bedroom has a King bed and the en-suite master bath features
a Jet tub and steam shower. A large living room which opens to the
enclosed patio has satellite TV and a DVD/CD player. Separate Dining
room seats 8 and the 3 barstools at the kitchen counter make it
plenty spacious for entertaining. One guest room features a Queen
bed, the other guest room has 2 twins. The patio is very quiet and
private and full of wildlife. NO SMOKING. Pets on approval.

Durango and the surrounding areas offer many activities and
attractions such as Hiking, Biking, Rafting, Rock Climbing, Golf,
Tennis, Racquetball, Fishing, Hunting, Horseback Riding, Live
Theater, 9 Cinemas, Skiing, Tubing, Cross-country skiing, Snow-
shoeing, Snowmobiling, Sledding, Museums, Mine trips, Glider trips,
Wildlife viewing, Shopping, Fine Dining & Casual Restaurants, Bar D
Chuckwagon, Mesa Verde and the famous Durango & Silverton Narrow
Gauge Railroad trips to name a few.
