Oceanfront 4 Bedroom House With Spectacular Acadia Views in Southwest Harbor

Beautifully furnished and well maintained large, single-story oceanside house situated at the end of a long driveway on seven acres of land. The house boasts 275 feet of coastal frontage and features unrivaled views of Acadia National Park's impressive mountains which rise up from the sea to the north. Spectacular 180 degree panoramic ocean and mountain views from nearly every room.

The house is located a few miles from Southwest Harbor on Mount Desert Island, home to Acadia National Park. Our location is literally steps from the park. The house is right smack on the ocean and is situated on a low bluff protected from the sea by a granite seawall. The cottage overlooks some of the best boating waters on the East Coast. Privacy, serenity, and astounding water views give you a wonderful sense of escape. Coastal Maine is magical. This house allows you to experience that magical feeling on a magnitude that will take your breath away. Some of our guests spend time just sitting and admiring the awe inspiring views of Acadia and its array of wooded islands and majestic mountains. The rocky beach is only a few steps down from the large flat lawn which provides an ideal spot for entertaining or simply taking in the extensive scenery. Sailboats race, lobster fishermen fish, and kayakers paddle by, all just a few short feet from our lovely house.

There's a large master suite with fireplace, private bath, and a huge bay window overlooking the ocean with panoramic views. Up the hall, another bedroom has its own private bath and ocean views. The large living and dining room has a brick fireplace and features an arched bay window looking out at vast views of the ocean, islands, and mountains of Acadia National Park. Two more bedrooms share a bath and provide sleeping quarters for four others. There is a well equipped kitchen, a separate wet bar, and plenty of closets and storage areas.

Our coastal getaway offers convenient access to any recreational activity Mount Desert Island has to offer. This house provides the perfect environment to entertain guests comfortably, or, if you prefer, allows you and your family to escape to a world of coastal Maine serenity. This wonderful house has been in our family for over 70 years and has the feel of a home not a rental.

CD/Cassette Player, New Washer/Dryer, Linens and Towels, Two Fireplaces, plenty of Firewood, ample Closet Space all provided as well. Outdoors you will find Lawn Furniture including Lounge Chairs, an Outdoor Dining Set, and a Barbeque. The most remarkable features at our house at Seawall are the Serenity, Privacy, and Stunning Views that await our visitors.
