This beautiful three bedroom condo is perched on the side of the
mountain in Snowmass Village, overlooking the valley where Aspen is
located. The condo has three bedrooms; three bathrooms; dining
room; living room with fireplace; and a fully outfitted kitchen with
microwave, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher, if you decide to cook
in rather then dine at numerous 4 and 5 star restaurants available
in Snowmass Village and Aspen. The bathrooms and kitchen have
granite countertops and beautiful maple cabinetry. Hair dryers are
available in the bathrooms. Towel and linen service is provided
at an additional charge. A porch faces the mountain, and a
private gas BBQ is available for your use. This patio is a great
place to BBQ, enjoy cocktails, and perhaps catch a glimpse of our
red fox Chloe. Other wildlife denizens include black bear, elk,
deer, racoons and squirrels.

A pool, two jacuzzis, sauna, and men and women's changing rooms are
located within the condo complex; the pool/jacuzzi deck overlooks an
aspen studded valley. Front desk personnel are available during the
day and part of the evening to answer your questions and provide
information on activities. Movies can be rented at the front desk
and played on our CD player. A computer is available for your use
in the "gate house," the reception building for our complex, which
is managed by Destination Resorts. A free shuttle service is
provided to the Snowmass Village mall or to a local shopping area
with a grocery store, pharmacy, post office and other retailers.

A fabulous Colorado Rocky Mountain vacation playground awaits you
just outside our condo. You can walk out the living room sliding
door and hike up, down or across the mountain; horse rides pass the
condo daily; if you choose, golf is available just down the hill at
the Snowmass Club Golf Course, and also in Aspen at a municipal
course. Attend the Snowmass Village rodeo, or take an art class in
Snowmass Village at the Anderson Ranch. Free musical concerts are
available most weeks on Snowmass mountain; you just walk out the
living room door and down the mountain (take a picnic: it's great!)
Generally throughout the summer, the Snowmass mall is a venue for a
festival of some type, such as arts and crafts, or a western themed
event.

A quick 10 minute drive puts you in downtown Aspen. The Aspen Music
Festival runs from mid-June through mid-August. Musical
performances are available multiple times a day. Full symphonic
performances are held in Benedict tent; chamber music and Masters
classes recur throughout the week. Opera Masters classes, and some
opera and theater performances are available through the summer, as
well as film screenings. The Aspen Institute sponsors lectures:
past lecturers have included Tom Friedman, Queen Nohr, Jane Goodall
and other notables. An Aspen Writers Institute has a week each
summer when one can attend presentations by various writers.

Fabulous outdoor activites await you throughout the valley. Gold
medal streams and high alpine lakes await those who wish to fish or
flyfish. Rafting, biking and backpacking are available. If you
wish to bike, try the Rio Grande Trail out of Aspen, downhill for
miles, and grab the municipal bus back uphill! Naturalists offer
free tours both on Snowmass Village's mountain and also around the
valley. Visit the Maroon Bells, said to be the second most
photographed location in the continental United States (catch the
public bus to the bells in Aspen or at Aspen Highlands). Or visit
the old western style downtown area of Basalt, just 20 minutes away,
with its art galleries and cute shops. Spend a day exploring Aspen:
poking in art galleries, people watching, dining at a great
restaurant, or riding the gondola to the top of the mountain, where,
if you time it right, you might enjoy an outdoor yoga class or free
concert.

This is a summer rental:
$1,650 per week for the first two weeks of June and from the third
week of August through September 30th, except the week encompassing
Labor Day.
$1,800 per week for the balance of the summer weeks.
