Barbara's Serenity welcomes you and invites you to come and enjoy 
this awesome lakefront getaway. This lovely sun filled 3 bedroom 
(plus sleeping loft), 2 bath vacation home is perfectly situated on a 
wooded lot with a few steps to a huge dock system with a large area 
for sunbathing, relaxing or just watching the lake. The huge sitting area
leads down to a large floating dock system with very deep water for year 
round boating, fishing and swimming. The home is 2 houses from wide open 
water so the water is always deep and clean. The spacious dock can 
accomedate a large boat as well as space for multiple waverunners. 
The width of the floating dock is 32 feet long and along with the 
huge gathering platform, Barbara's Serenity is truly the perfect 
place for lakefront entertaining and relaxing for the whole family. 
Barbara's Serenity sleeps 8 comfortably with 1 King and 2 Queen 
bedrooms plus a very comfortable Full Size Fouton in the Loft area. 
This charming lake getaway has all the comforts of home for very 
pleasant vacation including a fully equiped Kitchen with Breakfast 
bar, a great room with a large stone fireplace for those chilly Fall 
evenings and a dining area with beautiful views of the lake. There is 
a very peasant lakeview Loft sitting area on the second floor for 
catching up on a little reading or just being alone and quiet. The 
Loft also has a desk with HiSpeed DSL for your Laptop. All linens, 
dishes and cookware are also provided. There is also central 
air conditioning and a washer and dryer for your comfort and 
convieience. You will enjoy awesome views of beautiful Lake Norman 
from Barbara's Serenity. Lake Norman is 34 miles long, covers 
approximately 32,750 acres and has a shoreline of 520 miles extending 
over 4 counties- Mecklenburg, Iredell, Catawba and Lincoln. Once you 
experience a vacation here, you will want to visit and come back 
again and again!! 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Barbara's Serenity features Central Air Conditioning throught, phone 
service and Satelite TV as well as HiSpeed DSL for your Laptop. There 
is a fully equiped Kitchen with utensils, cookware and dishes, 
microwave, Refrigerator and dishwasher. There is also a washer and 
dryer. Outdoors there is a Gas BBQ grill for outdoor cooking. 
Barbara's Serenity has multiple decking for enjoying those beautiful 
relaxing afternoons you came to enjoy. Some of the decking is located 
in the shade and the deck areas down on the waterfront are perfect 
for sunbathing. Barbara's Serenity offers something for everyone in 
the family or it could be that quiet, peaceful and cozy retreat for a 
romantic couple to enjoy. 

Activities and Attractions

There is so much to see and do around Barbara's Serenity in the Lake 
Norman area. You can go Golfing 5 minutes from Barbara's Serenity at 
The Mallard Head Country Club. Of course you can have a wonderful 
time right from your dock with boating, fishing and swimming but 
there is also lots of other things you can do and enjoy. Barbara's 
Serenity is located just a few minutes from everyday convieniences 
such as grocery and drug stores, dry cleaners, banks, Wal-Mart Super 
Center and SuperTarget, Best Buy and so much more. Enjoy a family 
trip to Lake Norman State Park or go shopping at nearby Malls in 
Charlotte and Concord. The new Lowe's YMCA offers a wide array of 
exercise equipment and classes, as well as children's activities and 
youth sports. There is also Lowe's Motor Speedway for Race fans. You 
can also take a evening cruise on The Catawba Queen Paddlewheeler! 
There is also art, culture and entertainment just around the corner 
from Barbara's Serenity as well as the AmStar 14 Screen Movie Theater 
10 minutes away. We are just a few minutes off I-77 exit 33 or exit 
36. With easy access to I-77, we are just a short distance away from
