Vacation Rental Description

Welcome to Guemes Island!  
This three bedroom bi-level home is the perfect get-away.  
It features a large fireplace, a full kitchen, large, open living room  
and spectacular views of Mt. Baker and Puget Sound.   
The beach is right in front of the house and a public boat launch is only a quarter of a mile  
away.  The Guemes Island ferry is a ten minute ride  
and can handle cars, motor homes, and trailers.  
We are located on North beach, a favored spot for clamming and crabbing at low tide all year  
round.  Bird watching is excellent, with resident eagles and herons as well as many many  
smaller species. 
We saw an osprey last summer!

Activities and Attractions

The town of Anacortes is a five minute walk from the ferry dock on  
the mainland.  Anacortes features more than a few fine restaurants, a movie theater,  
and entertainment at local clubs and theatres. For hikers, there is a network of  
trails through woods and fields directly behind the house, and exhilerating   
beach walks.  Guemes Island is a great place to bring your bike.  You can travel any where on  
the island by bike.  
There is a Skagit County park a mile or so down the road from the house.   
Anderson's General Store is located right next to the ferry landing.  Anderson's  
features excellent food and serves a selection of regional microbrews.  If you need gas,  
groceries, ice,  dvd rentals etc., you can find it at Anderson's.

Vacation Rental Rates

$1000.00 per week in the summer (May 31st through October 31) 
 
 $850.00 per week in the off season 
 
 $350.00 per weekend
