Getaway Description
The Getaway is a 5-room cozy cottage is across the street from the
waters edge of Otis Reservoir. Otis Reservoir is the states largest
recreational body of water.
The Getaway has been completely remolded. The living room, dinning
room and kitchen view the lake. The interior walls are knotty pine
with windows trimmed in an off white. The kitchen is brand new with
all new appliances. The cabinets are all white with black
handles.
There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 twin
beds. The bedrooms, living room, and dinning room have ceiling
fans. If needed the Getaway is equip with central air conditioning.
It has a wonderful 10 x 32 deck where you have the use of a gas grill
and outdoor furniture with an umbrella for shade.
You are only a 100-yards to our private beach area where you can
swim and use the docks. One of the docks is a boathouse with a
covered porch that is suspended over the water. Sit back, relax and
enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.
Off-season time is just as beautiful as the summer. The fall
foliage reflecting off the water is a sight to be held. X-country
skiing, snowmobile, ice fishing, is right outside the front door.
Downhill skiing is only 10 to 20 minutes away. Take advantage of the
discounted off-season rates but still enjoy the beauty of the
Berkshires at your front door.

The Getaway comes with a fully equipped kitchen. It includes the
basics stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, along with
toaster, blender, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, pots, pans,
dishes and utensils. You will also have for your use TV, VCR/DVD
player and CD player. There
is
a washer and dryer in the basement for your convenience.
There are 2 bedrooms. One had a queen bed with dresser and armor.
The other has 2 twin beds, a dresser, and a closet. All linens and
towels are provided. Outside on the open deck is a gas grill for
your use. In the basement you will find the washer and dryer. It
is
a short walk to the beach where you will find the dock and a beach
area for swimming.

The activities in Berkshire County and on Otis Reservoir are endless
to ones imagination. Hiking, biking, boating, swimming, fishing,
nature walks, dinning, theater, museum, shopping is all here waiting
for you to enjoy.
Locally we have 10 restaurants to dine at, two gas stations and 4
convenience stores.
Enjoy the country setting of a waterfront cottage during the day and
drive a short distance to Lee, Lenox, Great Barrington, or
Stockbridge for your evening entertainment. The Bungalow is 15 to
50 minutes to Berkshire Premier Cultural Resorts.

Booked weekly rentals only.  We do not book short weeks or weekends early in the season. If there is an opening and it doesn’t book by the week before we will do a discounted rate.  Please call for rates and details.

Policy
Deposit due 7 days from reservation being made.
Deposit is ½ the rental fee.
Security deposit $500.00.
Balance due along with security deposit 21 days prior to arrival.
Check- in is Friday at 5:00PM.
Check –out is Friday at 10:00AM
Off-Season check-in times vary.
Note* Check-in and Check-out days vary off-season.
In-season weekly rentals run Friday to Friday.
Cancellation Policy: 30 day prior to reservation full refund.
29 –21 days prior to reservation ½ of deposit non-refundable.
20 days or less no refund unless premises can be rented.
