Vacation Rental Description

This European feeling Santa Barbara home is located in the  
upscale San Roque neighborhood near the Santa Barbara Mission. 
Relax in the peaceful living room with spectacular mountain and  
garden views, and listen to the soothing sounds of the outdoor  
fountain. Recline in the private fenced patio and later  
barbeque in the warm fragrant evening air. 
This home provides the perfect base to explore the local mountain trails,  
ocean, wineries and other activities in  
Santa Barbara and the beautiful California Coast. Just one hour to  
Los Angeles and five to San Francisco.  
An elegant drive leads into a magnificent private backyard with a  
large lawn and fruit trees.  Fragrances of jasmine, orange blossom,  
roses and herbs subtly fill the air. 
Two separate patios for entertaining and an outdoor gas grill for  
barbeques make a perfect place for a gathering. 
The comfortable living area is covered with beautiful hardwood  
floors and a fold out couch. Since these rooms were not decorated as a vacation rental but as my  
home you will  
find decorative touches that truly make a house a home. Televisions with dvds, a bookcase filled  
with good  
reading, board games and a portable  
music system fills all your entertainment needs. Sliding doors lead to  
the park-like backyard patio with seating for 6-8. 
The beautiful master bedroom is filled with natural light during  
daytime and you can step outside the room to enjoy a charming  
sitting area with bistro table surrounded by beautiful hydrangeas and gargenias. The sumptuous queen  
size  
bed has an extremely comfortable pillow-top mattress and high quality high thread count linens.  
Heavy  
drapes and  
shutters in both rooms assure a good night’s sleep. 
The bright and sunny bathroom has enclosed shower with removable  
showerhead and separate full bathtub. 
You will enjoy every amenity in the kitchenette with its complete  
sets of dishes, pots and pans and serving pieces. There is a  
microwave, toaster and convection oven along with coffeemaker

You can walk to grocery stores such as Gelson's or Trader Joes, shop at Macys, Pottery Barn, Talbots  
or Vons,  
or get a massage at the wonderful spa, Qui Si Bella, all of which are within walking distance or ten  
minute drive.  
You can eat at excellent restaurants nearby, browse in our locally owned bookstore, Chaucers, and  
mail your  
postcards at the post office in the shopping center within walking distance. If you want to browse  
in the lovely  
stores downtown you can be there in fifteen minutes from here.   You are only ½ mile to the Santa  
Barbara  
Mission and the Natural History Museum and the local Art Museum. 
  The municipal Santa Barbara golf course is only five minutes away and the two closest beaches,  
Hendry's  
beach where you can walk your dog, or the downtown beach area, are just a fifteen minute drive from  
here.  
Since we are centrally located between two colleges, UCSB and City College, you can take advantage  
of the  
variety of events taking place there. 
I have put a good deal of thought into making my place comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing as well  
as

Vacation Rental Rates

Season Rates:     Low Season:  $150 per night Sun-Thurs; $175 Fri-Sat 
                  High Season: $175 per night Sun-Thurs; $190 Fri-Sat 
Seasonal Weekly:  Off Season:  $900;   High Season: $1050 
Seasonal Monthly: Off Season: $2800;   High Season: $3900. 
Security Deposits: Two night minimum stay: first night's rent due within three days of booking. 
Weekly Stay: Half the total rent due within 3 days of booking. The rest due at check in. 
Monthly Stay: Half the total rent due 5-7 days of booking. The rest due 30 days before check in. 
Other Fees:  $100 cleaning fee; $50 pet deposit refunded if no extra cleaning is necessary. 
Refund Policy: 48 hour cancellation notification for daily and weekly rentals, and two week  
notification for  
monthly renters or  
deposit is forfeited. Emergency situations will be honored. 
Note: Multi-month discounts possible and long term renters very welcome.
