Vacation Rental Description

All the excitement and entertainment 
of South Florida is just outside the door but inside Casa Calma is 
your own private tropical retreat.
This waterfront property is located in the quiet community of finger 
islands known as Citrus Isles where there are huge canopy  trees and 
our property has 11 coconut trees as well as a half dozen other 
types of palm. Enter the property to the brick circle driveway with 
lush landscaping all enclosed by a 10 foot high fichus hedge. The 
private back garden has brick and wood patios and the Jacuzzi is 
just a few steps from the french doors leading to one of the 
bedrooms. The dock, equipped with Adirondack chairs, extends 6 feet 
over the canal and has a lovely view of the sunset over the water. 
Inside, the floors are bamboo hardwood with newly carpeted bedrooms. 
The kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops 
opens to the entertainment area with bar and glass top table. All 
done with upscale furnishings.
We are one of the most centrally located property in Fort 
Lauderdale; Ocean drive, when it curves away from the beach and 
becomes 17th Street 
Causeway ends 2 miles from the beach just 3 houses down from us, 
State Road 84, I 95, and I595 are all within a mile and you can be 
on the Florida Turnpike or at the FLL airport in 4 minutes. Las 
Olas, the Riverwalk and downtown Fort Lauderdale are just over a 
mile away, a few minutes by boat.

Vacation Rental Amenities

This property is great for entertaining, whether it is a group or 
just for  yourselves. The Jacuzzi fits 8 adults comfortably and 2 
romantically, there is a BBQ grill, a 3 stool bar and a 3 case wine 
refrigerator (both can be stocked in advance as an option). The boat 
dock is great for viewing sunsets up the intracoastal or berthing 
your or a visitor's boat. 
Washer and Dryer in the unit and laundry service is available.

Activities and Attractions

In South Florida there is no end to entertainment options. Casa 
Calma is within 3 miles of: Performing Arts Theater, literally 
hundreds of restaurants one for every taste, movie theaters, 
beaches, boat and jet ski rentals, parasailing, snorkeling, scuba 
diving, golf, the Galleria mall, more shopping and lots more... We 
keep an up-to-date library of attraction brochures, menus and 
delivery services.
