The Lazy Bear Lodge has a lot to Offer!!                         
Open all year long for Your Relaxation and Fun.  Nestled Among Ten
wooded acres of Natural Beauty you will enjoy a Cool Mountain Breeze 
and an Evening Sky filled with Endless Stars.  
Roan Mountain offers a wide Variety of outdoor Activities which 
includes:  Golf, Fishing, Hunting, Boating, Hiking, Cycling, 
Whitewater Rafting, Tubing, Nascar Racing, Scenic drives along the 
Blue Ridge Parkway and several State Parks.  In winter, visit Sugar 
and Beech Mountains, Where snow skiing, tubing and snowboarding are 
offered.

Our Vacation Rental is located in the Beautiful Roan Mountain Area 
of Tennessee.  The Lazy Bear Lodge is just 2 1/2 hours from 
Charlotte and Winston-Salem, 1 1/2 hours from Asheville and 35 
minutes from Bristol and The Motor Speedway.  The Cabin is just 3.5 
miles over the Tennessee/North Carolina Border.

Activities and Attractions

So Much To See And Do In The Roan Mountain Area!!
You can go Rafting in Erwin, Fish at nearby Watauga Lake or go 
Hiking along the Appalachian Trail just 0.6 miles from the Cabin. 
Golfing is available in both States with Mountain Glen in North 
Carolina and Elizabethton Golf Course in Tennessee.  South you can 
visit Linville Caverns, Linville Falls and Gorge, and when the time 
is right Ski Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain in Banner Elk.  Visit 
Grandfather Mountain with its Mile High Swinging Footbridge and 
Zoo.  Have some Family Fun at the Tweetsie Railroad located between 
Boone and Blowing Rock.  You can Mine Stones at Gem Mountain in 
Spruce Pine.  Nearby, Elk Park has a beautiful 75 foot Waterfall you 
won't want to miss.  Both Elk Park and Banner Elk offer a variety of 
Antique and Gift Shops. The Scenic Views Are Breathtaking on a Drive 
to Roan Mountain Only 7 minutes Away Where You Can Hike The Many 
Trails Offered at The State Park or Vist The Overlook at The 
Rhododendron Gardens on the Peak at 6,285 Feet.

Vacation Rental Rates

2007 Rates:  Lazy Bear Lodge

$120/ Per Night Monday Thru Thursday
$140/ Per Night Friday Thru Sunday and Holidays
$400 Three Night Weekend
$750 Weekly / $2200 Monthly

*Holidays - New Year's, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas and 
 Nascar Race Weeks, Require a Weekly Rental Rate (7 Nights or Less)
  
                       No Additional Fees:

For Housekeeping, Linens and Towels.
Tennessee Rental and Sales Tax.

                     Guidelines/Restrictions

Check in at 5:00 p.m.
Check out at 12:00 p.m. (Noon)
No Less Than a 3 night reservation
Holidays-New Year's, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Nascar
Race Weeks, Require a Weekly Rental Rate.
A Signed rental agreement with a 50% Deposit will guarantee your 
Rental Date.
Deposit is refundable up to 30 Days prior to your Rental start date.
Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
No Housekeeping is provided during your stay.

                          Restrictions

No Smoking Indoors  (Smoking permitted on Porches)
No Pets Allowed
Overnight occupancy is limited to 6 Guests.
