separate shower. 2nd bathroom has its own shower. Private deck off master. Queen size sleeper sofa in living room. One story house. Has washer and dryer as well as 2 tvs, dvd player, satellite, wireless internet avail.
Yard is larger than any other rentals (lot and a half) with play set for kids - sand box, swing set and slide. Covered terraced area with lounge chairs so you can sip margaritas while the kids are
safe right next to you. Eating area, outdoor furnace and gas barbecue. It's the perfect place to
kick back and enjoy being outside. 4 Parking spots.

Unlike most beach properties, our house has a very big yard which is wonderful when you want to quietly relax after a day on the beach or seeing the sights.  When the beach is windy, our yard is often warm and extremely relaxing.

Two blocks away is the harbor park which has the perfect kids' park for ages two to ten years and a
grassy area for other sports. You can rent sailboats and kayaks.
The town is walkable for local fresh produce and fish. The main town is a five minute drive and
boasts world class restaurants, antiquing and movie theatres. A water park is a ten minute drive
that your kids will love.
Magic Mountain, Santa Barbara and Ojai are a half hour away.
Address is 1350 Camden Lane, Ventura. Look it up on Mapquest to see how close we are to the beach!

Local Activities
Four beach volleyball courts 600 feet away at Ventura State Beach.
Bike riding. Very nice bike path that starts at the adjacent
Ventura State Beach – enjoy a nice ride up to the historic Ventura
Pier (about one mile) and watch the surfers at the adjacent Surfers
Point (premier surf spot for beginners to experts), or continue on
the bike path for miles riding right along a nice coastal path.
Channel Islands National Park. Island Packers Cruises, the
transportation concessionaire for CINP, operates right out of
Ventura Harbor and can take you out to enjoy the islands for day
trips, whale watching trips, island kayaking, snorkeling, scuba,
hiking, camping, etc. Daily departures from Ventura Harbor (about a
5 minute drive) from the house. CINP has a Visitor’s Center in the
harbor which is also fun to visit and Ventura Harbor has lots of
great shops and restaurants as well.
Golf – Two public 18 hole public golf courses within 2-5 miles of
the house.
Food and Shopping
Vons Market, Starbucks Coffee and a variety of small retail shops
and restaurants are about ½ mile away at Seaward Avenue and Harbor
Boulevard. Banks, gas stations, fast food restaurants, etc are in
the same areas.
Downtown Ventura – just north of the Ventura Pier and walking or
biking distance from the house, you’ll find a very robust and
recently revitalized, Historic Downtown Ventura. The Main Street
area of Ventura is filled with great restaurants and bars, shopping
and antiquing, a large movie theater, Saturday Farmers Market, etc -
all of it located near the San Buenaventura Mission (est. 1782).
Lots to do and see in Downtown.
Santa Barbara, CA. About 25 miles to the north on Highway 101. On
your way you’ll pass through the beach towns of Carpinteria,
Summerland and Montecito – each of them are also fun to visit. With
a nice little zoo and tons of other recreational, shopping/dining
and site seeing options, visiting Santa Barbara make it a really
great day trip.
Ojai, CA. Nice inland drive of about 15 miles away on Highway 33.
In the summer, it is not uncommon for Ojai to get into the 90’s and
even hit 100 on occasion. This is a pretty small town but it is
culturally rich with top notch resorts, spas, golf and tennis to
pamper you. Nice hiking further up into the mountains, hot springs
and swimming holes can be found right a short drive out of Ojai with
a road that will take you up into Los Padres National Forest and
more recreational opportunities. Recreational activities at Lake
Casitas include great fishing and a water park (open in summer).
