Romantic  A truly romantic get away with lots of privacy. We're in the Heart of the Finger Lakes on the East shore of Seneca Lake - located at Caywood Shores. It's just a 15 minute drive to Watkins Glen and within walking distance to Wagner's Winery & Brewery. Enjoy the one mile drive down through working vineyards to the door of our private vacation retreat.

Local Wines Take advantage of our unsurpassed local wines while enjoying our fantastic sunsets. Sit back and relax on our comfortable decks; there will be another beautiful sunset the next evening too.

Guest Accommodations Our Lake House is a new 2 story, 2 bedroom, single bath vacation house with room for 4 guests maximum. Sleeping accommodations include two double beds. No pets, no smoking, no tents, campers or motor homes are allowed. 

We limit our rental to a maximum of 4 individuals. If you exceed the limit, regretfully we will have to ask you to leave and forfeit the balance of your reservation and fees. You are renting in a quiet neighborhood so please respect our neighbors by avoiding excessive noise. We ask that you drive slowly, 10 mph please.  Parking is availale for two vehicles. 

Cooking - Restaurants We're best suited for adults for safty reasons. Cook at home in our fully equipped kitchen or dine at one of our nearby reasonably priced restaurants. The restaurants range from funky to elegant dining. And always, all area restaurants have casual dress.

Upper and Lower Beach Road Access    The Upper and Lower Beach Roads are privately owned by individual homeowners and may be used by our guests for access to our rental property only.  Guests are asked to use the stairs to the beach only unless you need to transport something that can't be carried down the steps.  After unloading, please return your vehicle to the parking area by the house - vehicles can't be parked at the beach.  Please use our beach only and avoid other properties.  We would appreciate it if you would enjoy our area parks for walking along the lake, and avoid using the privately owned Upper or Lower Beach Roads for walking or activities.   We are sorry that we have to impose these restrictions.  

Damages   We understand that accidental damage sometimes occurs. However, any major or what appears to be intential damage will be the responsibility of the renter.

We're fully furnished with everything you will need to enjoy your vacation. We have wood and tile on the first floor, and two carpeted bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Our lake house has cathedral ceilings with full glass overlooking Seneca Lake. To keep you comfortable, we have a fireplace, AC, and ceiling fans.

At the beach there is a firepit, a picnic table, a beach house, and 2 new beautiful docks. We have a canoe for our guests, along with life vests. Mooring is available for small boats. Please walk down the beautiful multi-decked stairs steps to access the beach.  Driving is limited to transporting heavy items only.  There is no parking at the beach, cars need to be parked at the house parking area.  . We also have several house decks with full sun or shade. For those who enjoy flowers, our house is surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Nearby there are many unique things to do from the Amish flea market; antique shopping; NASCAR Racing; Finger Lakes Wine Festival and brewery and wine tours - many wineries are within a 5 minute drive; some you can even walk to from our Lake House. We can even arrange to have a private chauffeur take you on a tour of our 20+ local wineries.

There's great shopping at a nearby Outlet Mall. We're close to Ithaca with Cornell University and Ithaca College. Enjoy boating, fishing, water activities, and swimming in crystal clear Seneca Lake. There's also a farmer's market, local fruit stands, and fruit farms open for picking fresh cherries, peaches, and strawberries in season. You can enjoy sailing excursions, dinner cruises, and local kayak and boat rentals as well. We also have a canoe for our guests. There are nearby golf courses as well as mini-golf.

A security deposit of $500 plus the full rental amount is due at the time of booking.  We prefer Visa or Mastercard.
