White Oak Forest Chalet is located just outside of the town of
Murphy. Quiet and secluded, you will find this chalet easy to access
night or day. Our deck area wraps around the front of the chalet and
offers excellent long range views of several mountain ranges.
Birdwatching at the feeder is a favorite past time. And for you leaf
lookers, the view in the Fall is right at your finger tips!

The main floor bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed made of rustic
logs. We also have a trundle twin bed which has two twin beds in one!
This room also has a chest of drawers and a large closet.
Just across the hall is the bath (complete with towels) with a shower. The large washer and
dryer are located on this main floor tucked away behind wooden
louvered doors.

Our large, fully equiped kitchen is ready for the most experienced
cook. We have a coffee maker, microwave, blender and all the dishes,
pots, and pans you should need for a lovely dinner party. For those
who love to grill, we have a BBQ gas grill located on the deck
for your use.

The main living area is complete with an oversized couch and a
rocker/recliner making it comfortable to enjoy the gas fireplace or a
family friendly movie. We have a large choice of viewing either VCR
or DVD's as well as satellite TV.

The upstairs loft bedroom has a queen size bed in the same rustic log
decor. You will wake to the view that will take your breath away!
You also have a full bath with tub/shower and a walk in closet. Again, towels and linens are
provided in both baths.

We love this chalet for it's location which is a short hop to town
while feeling miles from anywhere! You're just a day trip to
Gatlinburg or Cherokee. Miles of trails await you in several National
forests.
If off road ATV-ing is for you, one of the best places to ride with
miles of trails is less than an hour away in Tellico Plains.

friendly movies, an awesome deck with views that will knock your
socks off! Coffee maker, microwave, blender, all linens, towels,
dishwasher(!), family room and dining area, washer and dryer, easy
access on a paved road all the way at the back of the neighborhood to
offer quiet evenings and peaceful mornings. Just bring your
toothbrush and personal effects and make yourself right at home!

Many activites await you in this area of Cherokee county. Just a day
trip away is Gatlinburg, Cherokee, Appalachian Trail, Cherohala
Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway, numerous waterfalls and hiking trails.
The Ochoee and Nantahala rivers are white water rafting for all skill
levels. There is tubing and paintball, mini golf and golf for the
adults. This area is great for motor cyclists and ATV folks have
some of the best riding trails just an hour away.
