This upscale well-decorated comfortable Victorian style home is
located on Balboa Island. Balboa
Island is one of seven islands in Newport Harbor. You can drive over
the bridge or take the charming
3 car auto-ferry to access Balboa Island. Walk out the front door of
this home and you are four
houses from Newport Bay and it's beaches. Take the auto-ferry(on foot)
and with a five minute walk
you are at the Pacific Ocean. Walk around the boardwalk that encircles
Balboa Island stopping for a
coffee on the quaint main street.
Modern Victorian Home:
Enjoy the comfort of all the modern conveniences, go back in time with
the beautiful Victorian
antiques, and lounge on the patio with a gas BBQ as you slow your
pace down. This
home sleeps six and has 3
bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms, a comfortable den (cable TV, Wi-Fi), formal
living room, laundry room,
patio with a pass thru window to the kitchen.

Balboa Island is easy to get to. You are only 15 minutes from Orange
County Airport sometimes called
John Wayne Airport. A $15. taxi ride will do it or drive your own car
and park in our garage. We are
on the Pacific Ocean about half way between Los Angeles and San Diego.

Balboa Island has beaches, shops, restaurant, fishing, and a boardwalk
that encircles the island for
pleasure walks. Walk around the boardwalk leaving our quiet corner of
the Island passing the many
boats in the Harbor and stop for a coffee on the quaint Main Street. A
small ferry can be found just
a block from the house. This pedestrian and 3-car ferry ride takes you
two minutes across the
Newport Bay to the Pacific Ocean. This location permits ocean fishing
from the Balboa Pier as well
as deep-sea fishing boats, rentals for small sailboats, an extensive
boardwalk along the Pacific
Ocean for walking, skating, biking and surfing. Tennis and golf are
easy to find in Newport Beach.
Balboa Island is located well for many easy day trips to Disneyland,
Knotts Berry Farm, Los Angeles,
Hollywood, Universal Studios, Legoland, and San Diego Zoo etc...
Local shopping includes, Newport Center/Fashion Island, South Coast
Plaza, Crystal Court and many
many restaurants. Although you can certainly cook in this well
appointed kitchen!
