First Floor: Large, tiled entry hallway with french doors leads to spacious open-plan room with kitchen, dining, and living areas. Stove fireplace allows for cozy family gatherings.

A common, full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) is at end of hallway on this level.

On opposite side of hallway, the master suite (Empire) is furnished with a queen bedroom and another full bathroom along with a 2-sided fireplace -- so you can enjoy the fire while relaxing in bed, or in the jetted tub. Master bath also includes ample walk-in shower. 

Second Floor: Three additional bedrooms (Golden Delicious, Grannie Smith, and Braeburn) and one full bath (Pink Lady) accommodate additional guests.

Large additional living room on this level with flat-screen TV affords beautiful western views of distant mountains and pretty sunsets!

South Berkshire County attractions.
Explore our quaint village, 200-year-old+ General Store and town
beach (on lake Garfield), and Bidwell house and museum, an historic home preserved to give you the experience of living back in colonial days.

Nature lovers: We don't even need to point out the endless treasures that await you in this Appalachian-mountain-trail paradise loaded with hiking options that offer beautiful vegetation, views, and wildlife. Plus, you will have the luxury of OMG seasonal views right out your bedroom window.

City dwellers: Have no fear. The Berkshires' nickname is "SOHO in the country" -- so you will have many of the amenities you are accustomed to in NYC and Boston, such as art galleries, cultural performances, museums, bookstores, coffee shops (with wireless access), and great restaurants. It will just be much quieter! 

Culture vultures: Take in a performance at Tanglewood, Jacob's
Pillow, the Helskinki club, Mahaiwe theatre, jazz concerts right in our own General Store, and more. Our new favorite is the Infinity Music Hall in nearby Norfolk, CT. 

Shoppers: Check out the Lee outlets, boutiques in Great Barrington, cute shops in Stockbridge, and antiques in Sheffield and Southfield. 

Foodies: Enjoy countless excellent restaurants from those in nearby Great Barrington and New Marlboro to those a short drive away in Stockbridge, Lee, and Lenox. Or shop at close-by grocery and gourmet shops (including a fabulous cheesemonger in Great Barrington) to get all the ingredients you need to make a delicious meal and relax at home.

Skiers Delight: All local ski areas are on Rte. 23. At Appleview,
you are 3 miles from Butternut, 8 miles from Otis Ridge, and 14 miles
from Catamount.

Families: Lots of family-style restaurants, like Four Brothers and Martins in Great Barrington offer cheap eats, while bowling, the Rockwell Museum, and jumping off the dock in Lake Garfield in summer -- or a mogul at Butternut in winter -- are seasonal favorites!
