About Okaloosa Island, Fort Walton Beach, Destin area:
Okaloosa Island is the coastal area of the city of Fort Walton Beach,
FL. Located 1 mile west of Destin Fl and has some of the largest
natural sand dunes and wide, white powder sand beaches. Okaloosa Island is
preserved mostly due to its low density building guidelines (no high
rises!) and undeveloped beach. It is situated along the "Gulf Islands
National Seashore". The Gulf front condos have panoramic views of the
gulf and intercoastal views for the perfect Island atmosphere of
beach and boats.
Restaurants:
There are several excellent restaurants on Okaloosa Island that are
gulf front allowing for an uninterrupted day at the beach. Truly a
vacation destination for the whole family, you don�t even have to
leave the Island as the beach side Gulfarium is as entertaining for
adults as it is for kids.
