Vacation Rental Description

Island House Condominiums is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean, 
on Anastasia Island, 8 miles south of St. Augustine, Florida.  The 
townhouse has 2-bedrooms and 2.5 baths with 1350 sq. ft. of living 
space.  There are 4 balconies, 3 of them private, each with an ocean 
view.  The grounds are immaculately landscaped, and include a large 
swimming pool, tennis courts, shuffle-board, table tennis, clubhouse 
with kitchen and a private boardwalk to the wide, white sandy 
beach.

There will be no smoking or pets in the unit.  You must be at least 
25 years old to rent.  Cancellation is permitted with a full refund 
if it is done 30 days prior to arrival for weekly rentals and 60 days 
prior to arrival for monthly rentals.  There will be no refunds with 
cancellations for shorter time frames.

Townhouse is 2-story with ocean views and includes:

TV & DVD in livingroom & master bedroom, 
washer/dryer in laundry room with separate entrance from outside, 
fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, stove with ceremic top, 
toaster oven, disposal and refrigerator with icemaker, microwave (no groceries 
included), linens/towels, newly 
renovated with bamboo floors in livingroom and hallways, tiled in 
kitchen, laundry, & baths, carpet in bedrooms, furnished and  
professionally decorated in a nautical/tropical theme throughout, 
Queensize poster 
bed in master, kingsize bed in guest bedroom with net canopy,  outdoor furniture 
on balconies, ceiling fans in livingroom and bedrooms, 
unit has games and books.

Activities and Attractions

St. Augustine is the oldest city in the United States, rich with art 
and history.  Attractions include two Spanish forts dating from the 
1600's and now National Monuments, Castillo De San Marcos is located 
along the waterfront in downtown St. Augustine, and Fort Matanzas is 
located near the southern end of Anastasia Island.  Downtown, there 
is the Cathedral of St. Augustine built in the 1700s, carriage rides, 
moped rentals, ghost tours, old cemeteries, museums, and a pedestrian 
Old City.  In addition, there is the renowned St. Augustine Alligator 
Farm, Ripley's Believe It or Not, the St. Augustine lighthouse, and 
numerous other attractions.  St. Augustine is centrally-located 
between Jacksonville and Daytona Beach, each about an hour's drive 
away.  The Orlando area attractions are about 2 1/2 hours from St. 
Augustine.

Outdoor activities include numerous golf facilities, including the 
famed World Golf Village, offshore and Intracoastal Waterway boating 
and fishing, beachcombing,  sunbathing, surfing, windsurfing, jet 
skiing, and even driving your automobile on the beach in certain 
areas.  The miles of wide, unspoiled, white sandy beaches of 
Anastasia Island are some of the most magnificent on Florida's 
Atlantic coast.

There is a wide variety of traditional and fine dining available, 
with many seafood restaurants.  Shopping includes numerous quaint 
specialty shops, antiques, art galleries, and two outlet malls.  The 
major shopping malls of Jacksonville are less than an hour away.
