Home of Artists Little and Lewis, 4BR, Amazing View /Sunsets in San Miguel de Allende

This wonderful light-filled property is the house of internationally
known artists, Little and Lewis. Famous for their work in concrete,
George Little and David Lewis have created a garden-gallery in
Seattle Washington that is one of the most photographed and published
gardens in the United States. They recently published a best selling
book on their garden and work called A GARDEN GALLERY. They continue
their creative adventure with this house in San Miguel.

High on a hillside overlooking the Spanish colonial town of San
Miguel de Allende, this large, charming, four bedroom house on two
levels has a most dramatic view. Looking west toward the mountains of
Guanajuato 65 miles away, the vistas and sunsets are spectacular.
Each of the three bedrooms on the lower level has its own private
full bath and looks out over the view through a lush garden filled
with hibiscus and bougainvillea. The fourth bedroom,a separate
casita, also with its own bath, opens onto the entry patio.

The kitchen is nicely appointed and the breakfast room with its own
gas fireplace opens onto the sweeping upper terrace, perfect for
early morning coffee at the large round wrought-iron table. Views
everywhere. A large comfortable living room with gas fireplace and a
dining area with an eight-place table and chairs complete the
picture. There are three gas fireplaces in the house. A charming
fountain graces the upper terrace from the living room windows.

A guest-friendly and easy house for adults and young people alike, it
is just a 15-20 minute easy walk to the center of town(El Jardin)
through picturesque colonial streets. Taxis are always available for
those who prefer them.

A wonderful housekeeper, Maria, works full-time.( 6 days a week)
The gardener and groundskeeper, Juan, comes three days a week. This
is a non-smoking house. Children 10 years and over please. Small pets
by owners’ permission only.

Long term rental available. ( 6-12 months) $2200-$2400 a month depending on duration
