Petite Tara - Cucuron - 13th Century Village in Luberon

This is the owner's beloved second home. Enjoy the ambience of the
11th Century with 21st Century convenience and comfort. Historic home
built around 1280 AD inside the walled village of Cucuron in Southern
Provence. "Petite Tara" has 4 floors, including the cave. Cucuron is
a lovely historic village surrounded by vineyards, castles and the
Luberon Hills.
Master bedroom, bath and toilet on the 3rd floor, guest room and
entertainment center on the 2nd floor, kitchenette and adorable living
room with fireplace on street level and a fully finished cave
below. Stovetop, refrigerator, freezer, convection oven, microwave,
washer, satellite TV and Fans.
We are tucked away in the village minutes from many of Southern
France's unique delights:
~ 20 minutes to wander the boulevards of Aix en Provence
~ 40 minutes to treat yourself to auditory delight at opera set in the
Roman Amphitheater in L'orange (the acoustics are incredible!)
~ 40 minutes to revel in the festivities of Avignon: The City of Popes
~ 30 minutes to lunch at the Font de Vacluse (after lunch take a kayak
ride down the exquisite river
~ a short hour to bask and bake in the sun on the Cote de Azure's
incomparable beaches
Want even more diversity? We are only about 3 hours from both the
Spanish and Italian borders!
It is so easy and convenient. Fly into Marseille (only 45 minutes
away) or take the TGV from Paris to Aix en Provence (spectacular
scenery rolls on by).
Be sure and give yourself ample time to enjoy the Village of Cucuron
itself: Tuesday is market Day, Nightly Bar life by the E'Tang, or
hike to L'Hermitage on the hill above the village.
