with approximately 4400 sq ft of living space. Top floor has 1 king size and 1
queen size bedroom/ two bathrooms, a full size furnished kitchen, large living
room, and private lanai with beautiful ocean views.  2nd floor has 2 queen size bedrooms/ two
bathrooms, a full size furnished kitchen, large living room with a Murphy bed
& sofa sleeper, and private lanai with ocean view. Each level may be kept
separate with a private entrance, or the home may be connected and joined
through a comfortable split level staircase. Great for groups of 7 - 14 people.

Perfect Location: We are located 300 feet (an easy walk down
the driveway) from Kahaluu Beach! Undoubtedly one of the best snorkeling spots
on the Big Island. Famous for snorkeling, Honu (green sea turtles), surfing,
and History. Fed by a fresh water spring, up to 10 million gallons per day.
These waters are almost always calm, with colorful corals, rock formations, and
100+ species of fish. Swim with huge schools of colorful fish and green sea
turtles in these protected waters; don't forget your underwater camera!

The north end of the beach is where the waves break and is
best for body boarding and surfing. Kahaluu is well visited because of the
calm, protected waters - perfect for families and kids. Shady trees surround
this beautiful sandy beach. Facilities include a pavilion, rest rooms, showers,
a lifeguard tower. Concession stands, surf school and beach rental gear stores
are located nearby. 

Kahaluu Beach was added to the National Register of Historic
Places in 1974. The location of an important royal residence, a breakwater
called 'wall of the ancients', ancient fishponds, and more. All a part of the
Big Island's history.
