Beachfront Resort in Hutchinson Island

Welcome to Ocean Village, a gated beachfront resort community on
Hutchinson Island in Ft. Pierce, Florida.

The condo for rent is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, first floor unit that has
just been repainted, retiled and redecorated with new
furniture, beds, appliances and all of the linens, kitchenware,
etc., conducive to a pleasant stay.

-Both the master suite (with a queen size bed) and the guest suite
(with two twins) have a private bath, and are separated by a hallway
for privacy.

-There is a washer/dryer accessible from either bedroom and a queen-
size sleeper sofa in the living room...suitable for the occasional guest.

-There is also a screened porch and a deck over a lagoon, visible
from almost the entire unit, and accessible from both the living
room and the master bedroom.

-And since we’re on the first floor, there is a reserved parking
space at our door, which we consider a major benefit when it’s time
for unpacking or shopping or hauling bikes or golf clubs or surf
boards to our car!

In addition to miles of walkable, swimable, “shellable” beach a five
minute walk from our door, there are four swimming pools, a gym with
hot tub and sauna, tennis, basketball and bocce courts, executive
golf, a poolside Tiki bar for casual food and cocktails, and a
really good restaurant for more formal dining. Landscaping is lush
and beautifully maintained and makes walking or biking to any of the
facilities an enjoyable activity in itself.

If you prefer something more structured, there are Pilates Classes,
Aqua exercise at the pool, and other activities listed on bulletin
boards, at the community center, and on TV Channel 63.

“Historic Fort Pierce”, with its assorted restaurants, shops, marina
and landscaped riverside walking and biking paths is a 10 minute
drive (or for the more energetic, a 30 minute bike ride), and offers
a weekly farmer’s market, The Manatee Observation Center, concerts
and art shows, and an assortment of shops and restaurants for
leisurely exploration. Stuart and Vero Beach (both ½ hour away)offer
additional dining and boutiques.

-Kennedy Space Center (About 90 minutes)
