Luxury Oceanfront Condo with Private Infinity Pool!! in Bucerias

Punta esmeralda is a great condo complex. Great pools, safe secure, friendly staff, work out facility is good, close to bucerias (easy walk or bus. Complex was easy to get around and there were not many people at the complex so it was quiet.

The condo itself was nice and spacious. Bedrooms were well placed with patios opening up to the balcony. It was an easy walk to the beach and lower pool.

However, despite all the good, there were some problems....

The condo is billed as sleeping ten. This is true if two people (kids) use fold up cots. However, the cots were garbage! They were cheap and sagged so much we put out 3 and 5 year old on the floor on the mattress instead. Further we finally found sheets for the cot, but there was only one bedspread for a blanket. We had to put the kids matress' together so they could both be covered. This should not have happened. There should have been good cots and linens.

Second, the condo is billed as sleeping ten, yet there were only 6 beach towels. We had to constantly share.

Third, the kitchen is starting to see some ware and tear. The cabinets re delaminating which made ot hard to close cupboards. It would also be good to have some bowls for preparing food as there was only a large salad bowl.

Lastly, when we booked and in our communication we said we were arriving at noon on the 21st. When we arrived it Max was not prepared and thought we were arriving the next day. Further it looked as though Max had been using the condo as a crash pad and he further said check in is not 12 but 3. However he quickly got the place cleaned and we were in by 3.

All theses problems are not huge problems, really some of them are quite minor. However, for the price of the condo, theses problems should not have been present. If these were corrected i would rate the condo above excellent, for now it gets a good.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers

My Review of Brisa 1 in Punta Esmeralda.

Your place in PV ( Brisa 1 ) is truly a special place and certainly was much better than we could even had hoped for. As you know, it is always very easy to be somewhat skeptical when planning a trip (especially with the whole family coming from half way across the world ) when you have never been to a place and have no personal knowledge of the area, the accommodations and the people that you have to deal with. Well Max, whatever questions we had, they quickly disappeared as soon as we walked in the front door of Brisa 1 ! The facilities were absolutely wonderful and the place was spotlessly clean and we were all very impressed with the whole setup ! The beautiful living area , the fantastic bedrooms and associated bathrooms and the extremely well-equipped kitchen all helped to make "your" home feel like "our" home for the week !


Brisa 1 has to much to offer that it's hard not to forget mentioning some of them but certainly the wonderful infinity pool just outside the front door was a great big "hit" for our family and we all spent many wonderful hours in it just talking and having a great family time together. And of course my daughter and her family thought it was pretty special to just open the front door and jump in a pool!

Also certainly the close proximity to the pools, the elevator, the restaurant and the beach were also very conducive to the enjoyment of our stay. In addition we were very pleasantly surprised at the extremely well manicured grounds around Punta Esmeralda!

We went down to the restaurant several times throughout our stay and enjoyed it tremendously. The food was GREAT the drinks AWESOME the views SPECTACULAR the convenience UNRIVALED and most importantly the thoroughly enjoyable and friendly STAFF who made it all worthwhile!


As you know Max, you can have all the best facilities in the world with all the correct amenities but if the people you have to deal with are rude or non-friendly or non-caring it all goes to waste ! That definitely is not the case in Punta Esmeralda. Every single individual that we met including the gate guards, the waiters, the maintenance workers and everyone else that we met were truly a pleasure to be associated with for our stay. To me I think that this was the one thing that impressed me the most about Punta Esmeralda and probably was the one aspect that made for such an enjoyable week !
