Guest House on Guadalupe River in New Braunfels

Guest House on the Guadalupe River. Located 30 miles west of New
Braunfels above Canyon Lake Dam. 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath,and small
sleeping nook. Sleeps 6 (800 s.f.). Enjoy canoeing, tubing,
swimming and relaxing on the beautiful Guadalupe River. The Guest
House is very cozy and comfortable and will be the perfect get away
for you and your family or friends. The guest house has a front
porch with swing that overlooks the river and has two grills (gas
and charcoal) and a charcoal smoker. Downstairs is the bathroom and
fully equiped kitchen and sleeping nook. The sleeping nook is a
tiny room off of the kitchen with bunk beds. Upstairs is a bedroom
with 2 full beds, the living area has a sofa bed and dining area.
The living room opens to a deck with a fantastic view of the river.
The guest house is located above Canyon Lake Dam so you will get to
enjoy the river in its most relaxing setting. With your rental of
the guest house you have 2 tubes for use during your stay at no
additional charge.
You can put in at Bergheim Campgrounds and kayak back to the
Guest House or put in at the guest house and take the river to Hwy
281 and a local canoe company will shuttle you back to the guest
house ($15); both of the trips are perfect day trips.
For those of you who want to explore some of the surrounding cities
we are within 30 minutes of New Braunfels, San Antonio and Boerne
and 45 minutes from Luckenbach.
