Short 5 minute walk to one of Sanibel's best shelling beaches,
along West Gulf Drive, in a quiet and private residential area.

Ground level Lanai home, completely remodeled in December 2003
with new Corian kitchen, new baths and Italian tile flooring. This
vacation home has two separate master bedroom suites, each with a
king bed.

One other rental home available for January-February 2008. Also,
five other vacation rental homes available on Sanibel, so your
vacation villa may be just an email or phone call away ;-)

A great vacation experience because this home is one of the few
ground level Sanibel rental homes with a new large pool which
includes a large overflow hot tub, and serene lake views, within a
few minutes walk of the beach. The beach in this area of Sanibel is
not very crowded because its mid-island location, near West Gulf
Drive and Rabbit Road, is away from the crowds and noise of the
condominium part of the island on the East End.

On a small private cul-de-sac with one of Sanibel's best large pools
(36 x 15) and large (8-10 person) bubbly hot tub, and great lake
views. The hot tub and pool open out from Florida living room. The
pool has a "tanning ledge" built to lay on chaise lounges while in
the pool just a bit, great for reading and relaxing, as well as
playing upon (about 16-18" deep). The hot tub has an overflow
waterfall to add to your pool enjoyment and fun.

This private beach getaway home has the best all 'round features of
the several Sanibel homes we have enjoyed. The pleasing feel of this
home has been made even more appealing from the complete remodel. It
has wonderful lake and wildlife views and is on a very quiet cul-de-
sac, which is good for a quiet bicycling and walking area. Birds of
all sorts frequent the back yard, walking up and down near the pool
cage. A cormorant preens himself in our tree regularly. Great Blue
Herons, Egrets and small flocks of Ibis can also be seen within a few
feet of the hot tub. Osprey often roost nearby, carefully
carrying their meal (usually fish, but sometimes a snake) back to
their nest.

We also have 4 additional vacation rental pool homes on Sanibel
Island, all in the same area (East Rocks/West Gulf Drive). Four of
the homes have 3 bedrooms with 2 baths and one is very large with 4
bedrooms, a den and 3 baths, so please inquire about availability, as
one of our homes may be available.

We rent our private homes for dates which are 4 weeks or more. We
offer discounts for long term renters, last minute specials and
sometimes offer discounts for those who ask (you'll never know unless
you ask)!

All amenities for comfortable and serene beach enjoyment -- chairs,
umbrellas, cooler, DVDs, golf clubs, stereo etc. High speed internet
added upon request, and computer when available. Two King beds, two
twin beds and a sofa bed make up the sleeping arrangements.

House is furnished with relaxation and comfort in Florida tropical
style. Living room (Florida room) opens out onto pool and hot tub,
bringing Lanai and pool living and enjoyment into your living room.
Panoramic lake views and tropical birds. Less than a four minute
walk to very private beach in East Rocks, one of the quietest
subdivisions on Sanibel.

Sanibel is rated as the best place for shelling in the United States
and has an abundance of water and beach activities available.

* Sanibel has 22-26 miles of bicycle and walking paths throughout the
Island (depends on whose measurement!)

* Over half of Sanibel is natural conservation areas with Ding
Darling National Wildlife Refuge as its crown jewel.

* No building on Sanibel is allowed to be higher than 40 feet.

* Dark ordinances let the night sky shine brilliant with stars.

All these things make Sanibel a peaceful and serene island paradise.

the more Northern parts of Florida such as Tampa, Sarasota, Venice and so forth.
