in a small, quiet neighborhood along Lemon Bay in Englewood,
Florida, our newly remodeled and fully-furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath
cottage has almost 1,000 sq. ft. of living area. Hardwood floors in
living room, sunroom and kitchen. Bedrooms are carpeted and dining
room is tiled. Views of Lemon Bay from the sun room, living room,
kitchen, dining room and the outside deck. Master bathroom has
shower, second bathroom has a tub with a shower.
Wireless internet connection available.
The cottage is less than 2 miles away from Englewood's pristine
beaches on the barrier island of Manasota Key. Access to Lemon Bay
is less than 200 feet from the cottage, where you can launch your canoe or kayak.

Englewood is located off the beaten path in a quiet corner of the
spectacular Florida Gulf coast. You will find 4 beautiful public
Gulf beaches on Manasota Key, one of the Englewood area's many
barrier islands. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the beaches of
Manasota Key as you watch the dolphins play, or spend some time
picking up a variety of colorful seashells and searching for
prehistoric sharks teeth. Manasota Key offers over a 10 mile
stretch of beaches, dunes, seashells, sharks teeth, sea oats and
turtle nests.
You may enjoy the many excellent fishing, kayaking and boating
opportunities on Lemon Bay, the Charlotte Harbor estuary, the Myakka
River, world-class tarpon fishing in nearby Boca Grande Pass, or
deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, the Englewood
area offers year-round cultural events including the Lemon Bay
Theatre, has many excellent restaurants, 3 area State Parks/Forests
to explore, and a charming downtown area with many antique stores,
boutique stores, and unique art galleries. Plus there are more than
a dozen golf courses within a 20 minute drive.
