Lazy Daze - Beachfront House On Family Beach in Crystal Beach

Thanks for all the comments and your thoughts and prayers. I am sorry to inform everyone that has
memories of spending time at "Lazy Daze" it didn’t make it through the hurricane Ike. 80% of the
beach houses in Crystal Beach are gone. We went down Thursday the 11th and boarded up the house and
got to spend one last afternoon enjoying the house. We are very blessed with the memories of sharing
time with family and friends at the house. We have comments from hundreds of other families that were
also able to enjoy the house. We can’t go back, we can only move forward and there will be days down
the road that we can all go back and enjoy Crystal Beach!
It will be different but so will we!
We will do our best to rebuild Lazy Daze. Can’t promise it will be in the same spot because there was
a lot of erosion of sand but the peninsula still has some land, it isn’t all gone and we will find a
spot and bring the pictures and memories back.
We need to keep everyone at Swede’s and everyone else that lived and worked on Bolivar Peninsula in
our thoughts and prayers.
