Vacation Rental Description

A Very Spacious and Relaxing Setting 
Our One bedroom home is very warm and inviting with 1100 sq. ft of  
tiled floors and 12 foot ceilings. We have ample privacy via bi-fold  
doors that isolate two separate living areas within the confines of  
this structure. Full of light and invigorating energy it comfortably  
sleeps 4 people. Equipped with one queen bed and two full size pull  
out sofas our home is the perfect retreat for families, couples,  
artists, and anyone who wants to really get away from it all and  
unwind.  
 
Located just 10 minutes from Taos on a peaceful 16.5 acre fenced  
property overlooking the Hondo Valley with spectacular views of the  
Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the east and the Rio Grande Gorge to  
the west. The Rio Grande Gorge and Stagecoach and Blackrock hot  
springs are about 1.5 miles from the home.

Vacation Rental Amenities

We remodeled the home recently with tile floors throughout and have  
added new furnishings that include two pullout sofas that are  
actually comfortable to sleep on. There is a queen bed (comfy too) a  
large double sided amoire plenty of cabinet space for storage,  
beautiful Kilims adorn the floors, as well as nice art on the walls,  
a very well equipped kitchen with new appliances and plenty of  
acoutrements while on the mesa. 
 
A hefty library that will keep you busy if you just want to  
hang out on the mesa and read! If you prefer to veg there is  
satellite TV, telephone, an extra phone jack for laptop connections,  
stereo, and in the dining area Elisabeth's hand painted dining room  
table. It seats six with an expandable leaf. We installed a  
wonderful maytag stack washer and dryer and the bathroom has a tub  
with a great shower!  
 
Frankly, Taos can offer up some pretty funky accomodations and  
though we love it dearly the last thing we wanted was a vacation  
home where our personal comfort was at all compromised. We know that  
you will enjoy our efforts. In fact we highly reccomend it!

Vacation Rental Rates

Rental is by the week at 650.00 or by the month at 1400 includes all utilities. Rates are paid in  
advance by check or money order. Pets are negotiable.
