Fabulous 4 Season Lake House with Hot Tub in Monadnock

Come enjoy a peaceful week in our fabulous and comfortable house on
beautiful Emerald Lake. The water is pristine, spring-fed and well
stocked with trout and other fish. Watch the sunset from our lakeside
deck, sun yourself on the floating dock, or enjoy the screened-in porch.

The house has over 2200 square feet of living space with lots of room
to find privacy. It has a large 24 x 24 foot living room with a wood
burning fireplace and two very comfortable couches. There is a 30"
Wide-screen High Definition television in the living room with cable
and DVD/VCR. There's also a very nice stereo with ipod dock and a computer with internet access in the master bedroom.

The family room downstairs in the finished walk out basement, has a 20" television, vcr/dvd player and lots of toys and games to keep the kids entertained and out of your hair!!

The kitchen is nicely equipped, including pots and pans, utensils, and
a wide variety of spices. The attached dining room comfortably seats 10.

There are three adult bedrooms with queen beds; the master bedroom is
enormous, with a walk-in closet that you could even put a crib in and
huge picture windows with sliding doors that lead out to the upper deck. Enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee from here. The guest room also has a lake view and a large walk-in closet. There is a 3rd bedroom with 2 bunk beds in the finished walk out basement along with a "4rth bedroom" which is a queen bed nestled under the stairs with a wardrobe giving it some privacy from the family room.

Outside enjoy a small yard in which to play games, relax on the deck, snooze in the hammock or enjoy the bubbling hot tub with a great view of the lake!.

The lake is 50 acres and doesn't allow motor boats (little fishing
motors are okay) so swim, boat, fish or just float around and relax.

In summer: Hiking (Fox Forest, a wonderful place to hike and snow show is just a mile away and Mt. Kearsarge and Mt. Monadonock are less than an hour away), biking, walking, swimming, boating, sailing,fishing, golf, antiquing, shopping, dining in Hillsboro, Henniker, Concord or charming Peterborough just 20 minutes away.

Peterborough also boasts summer jazz and art festivals along with many nice restaurants, art galleries and shops. Across the lake is a nice sandy beach and play ground for the kids.

In fall: Relax and watch the leaves change color! Festivals in
Peterborough and throughout the Monadonak region.

In winter: cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating, ice fishing, snow mobile trails, in the neighborhood. Enjoy down hill skiing at Pat's Peak 15 minutes away and  Sunapee 45 minutes away.

3 day Holiday Weekends: Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanks Giving, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, and Labor Day: $1,200

Summer - Mid June-Labor Day - Week: $2200

Fall - September & October

Week:$1,600 - Mid Week: $900 - Weekend: $800

Winter/Spring - November to May

Week: $1,400 - Midweek: $800 - Weekend: $800

In and out times can be flexible depending on bookings.

 

All rates include 9% NH rental tax and the cleaning fee.

1/2 rental due with reservation, 2nd half due 4 weeks before arrival plus a $250
security deposit which will be returned two weeks after end of rental. An additional $100 deposit for pets.
