Vacation Rental Description

Great 3 bedroom fully equipped cottage with an awesome view of the  
lake.  
- We purchased and completely updated this cottage in summer 2006.  
- Available for rentals from late May through September. 
- Conveniently located about 3.5 miles north of Lake George Village  
on Rt 9N (the west side), just below Diamond Point and above  
Hearthstone campground. Our cottage is on Smokey Bear Lane, which is  
a private road on the lake side of 9N so there is no busy road to  
cross to enjoy the lake. Great for families! 
- Shared waterfront with large sun/swim deck with new lounges and  
patio tables and chairs, swimming area, and swim platform. Our  
cottage is one of 14 homes in very well-maintained association.  
- Campfire area overlooking the lake for evening socializing and  
incredible daytime lake vistas.   
- We have a great lake view from our cottage and it is steps  
from the water.  
- The guest limit is six, and two cars are allowed. 
- Sorry, but this property is not wheelchair accessible (there are  
unavoidable steps to our cabin and the waterfront). 
- About 3 miles from Exit 22 of the Northway (north of the Village)  
- Close to restaurants and deli/convenience stores

Vacation Rental Amenities

The interior was completely updated with Adirondack Lodge decor in  
the summer of 2006.  
* Brand new natural hickory cabinets in eat-in kitchen with all new  
appliances (full size smooth top range, microwave, full size  
refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, etc.)  
* All dishes, cookware, glassware, grilling tools, etc. provided 
* Living room with new cedar log furniture, HDTV high def TV and  
cable service, DVD player with movies, stereo with music CDs, free  
unlimited local and U.S. long distance phone service, lodge &  
wildlife decorations, artwork.  
* Games, Adirondack guides and other books, music & more  
* All rooms have wooden lodge style walls 
* Two bedrooms have queen beds, dressers, nightstands, closets 
* Third bedroom has two twin beds, dresser, nightstand, closet  
* All bedrooms have cable TVs 
* Guests to provide sheets, pillowcases, bath towels & beach towels; 
  other linens and bedding items provided (arrangements can be made 
  for us to provide all linens for a small additional fee) 
* Two brand new bathrooms featuring tiled showers, quiet Kohler  
  toilets, lodge lighting, and fans 
* Air conditioning and heat 
 
Exterior has two decks, patio furniture, Weber gas grill with  
tools, Tiki torches, loads of flowers, Adirondack chairs, and free  
parking for two vehicles at the cabin. 
 
Guests must agree to and abide by association rules 
 
No Smoking and No Pets in our home. Due to allergy of owner, we  
prefer not to rent to any smokers.

Activities and Attractions

Swimming, boating, hiking, golfing, tennis, shopping, parasailing,  
horseback riding, tubing, amusement park, water slide parks, rodeo,  
excellent restaurants, museums, concerts, craft shows, auto shows,  
boat shows, Saratoga Racetrack nearby, etc.

Vacation Rental Rates

Now booking for 2008 - Contact owner for availability and exact  
rates - the base 2008 rate is $2400 for 7 nights. If we are booked 
we can help you find another cabin so contact us now!  
 
We prefer Saturday to Saturday stays but don't be afraid to ask for  
other days if needed.  Please call or email us for availability and be  
sure to mention you are asking about our cabin and the dates you  
want. If you include your phone number we'll call you back. 
 
* A $500 reservation deposit (per week) will be required within five  
days of booking to confirm a reservation with full payment due at  
least 30 days prior to beginning of stay or within a few days if  
booked closer than 30 days prior. 
* Notice of Cancellation must be received more than 60 days prior to  
scheduled arrival date to obtain a refund less a $100 (per week)  
service fee.  The entire deposit is non-refundable for cancellations  
within 60 days of scheduled arrival. The final payment is non- 
refundable if the cancellation is within 30 days of the scheduled  
arrival.    
* A $500 security deposit is required and is refundable following  
departure. Guests are responsible for any damage to our cabin, its  
contents, and the association property (damages will be deducted from  
the security deposit).  
* Renters must complete a short rental agreement form and abide by  
all association rules. Renters must pay any fines they incur for violating  
the rules. Having more people or cars at the cabin or on the association  
property than allowed will result in a fine. At this time the limit is six  
people (including children) and two cars. This prevents over-use and 
negative impact on residents and other guests.
