Red Mountain in Rossland BC is an Alpine Village set at 1023m  
elevation in the Kottenay Rockies.  
In Winter, the skiing is fabulous. Think of Whistler or Aspen 30  
years ago - no crowds, no queues - voted by Ski Canada Magazine as  
Canada's Best Ski Town and ranked #13 in Skiing Magazine's top 25  
resorts in North America. Enjoy downhill and cross country skiing,  
back country touring, cat skiing and the showshoe loop. 
In Summer, you have the choice of golf, mountain biking, fishing and  
hiking. Red is the mountain bike capital of Canada. 
Nearby Rossland, described by National Geographic as one of  
the "Great Adventure Towns to live and Play in" in North America, is  
a quaint gold and silver mining town which is steeped in history and  
charm. It offers excellent dining,supermarket and liquor store,  
shopping, day spa, massage practitioners, medical facilities, a  
fitness centre and friendly service.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Silvertip #2 is a "home away from home" offering five star slopeside  
accommodation. Beautifully decorated, this apartment features stone  
and timber finishes and first class furnishings and appliances.  
You will be met on arrival and shown through the condo, which will  
have been prepared for your visit by Hillside Properties. They will  
be available throughout your stay to answer any queries. 
2 generous-sized bedrooms sleep up to 6 people. Master - King sleigh  
bed and study area with modem connection and TV/DVD player. Second  
bedroom - Queen sleigh bed and timber bunk for two singles with  
TV/DVD/Video player. Cot available on request. 
2 large granite/tile bathrooms, one with a tub, washer and dryer. 
Gourmet-style full granite kitchen with superior appliances. 
Luxurious living room with rock fireplace, fir beams, leather sofas  
and entertainment centre with plasma screen. 
Large dining area with timber floor and dining setting for up to 10  
people. 
Private outdoor hot tub, grill on private patio,internal ski locker  
and heated underground parking ensure complete comfort and  
convenience during your stay.

Activities and Attractions

With an average of 7.5m of snow per year and 1,585 acres of skiable  
terrain, Red Mountain offers fabulous downhill skiing and boarding  
on  
both groomed and off-piste slopes. Challenge yourself on the terrain  
park, on gladed ski areas and on two dedicted cross country areas,  
Black Jack and Nancy Green. Enjoy the spectacular scenery on the  
showshoe loop or by touring the extensive back country areas, where  
you can also try cat skiing.  
In Summer, choose from golf, mountain biking, fishing and  
hiking. Red is the mountain bike capital of Canada. Its "Seven  
Summits Trail" has been ranked by IMBA as an "Epic Ride  
Destination".  
There are 6 outstanding golf courses within an hour of Red, graded  
hiking trails and wonderful fishing in the Columbia River and the  
nearby Christina and Kootenay Lakes.

Regular Season(12/1/08-12/21/08, 1/02/09-4/5/09):  
$290 CAD per night OR stay 7 nights and pay for only 6. 
 
Holiday Season(12/22/08-1/01/09): $339 CAD per  
night OR stay 7 nights and pay for only 6. 
 
* Rates include fresh linen at the commencement of your stay and  
cleaning on departure. Additional cleaning may be arranged directly  
with Hillside Properties, who will meet you on arrival. 
* Rates do not include 5% GST.
